Weeds 3: Look Like Real Leaves

    $33.99

I wrote this book for my love for weeds. I love weeds because they remind me of when I used to walk in the wilderness in my home country. There were many weeds, some were nomadic on my way, and reminded me of St. John’s who used to walk along the wilderness and see many different weeds, this is why I chose to write a book about weeds, to commemorate St. John Baptist life. Wilderness and the variety of weeds he encountered.

A Chronicle of the Roman Twilight: A Novel

    Price range: $3.99 through $33.99

The story begins in A.D. 364 when the author of this memoir, Marcus Cedranus, is born into a middle class landowner’s family in western Britain. While his material prospects are promising, his deteriorating relationship with his parents causes him to leave home for the continent. In Gaul he becomes a teamster for a freight hauling company, meets an older woman who will eventually play a major role in his life and is drafted into the Roman army in 382.

He is assigned to Legion XXII in Mainz and in 383 is temporarily transferred to Belgrade on the Danube. A revolt in the west makes this transfer permanent. He participates in several military campaigns and takes part in a triumph in Constantinople in 386. In 388 his regiment takes part in the eastern offensive against the revolt in the west that has by now spread to Italy. With the revolt suppressed, he is assigned to a new imperial guard regiment for the restored western emperor, Valentinian II. During another transfer to the east Marcus suffers a terrible personal tragedy from which it is impossible to recover. Another civil war breaks out in the west and is suppressed with terrible casualties.

Marcus is appointed tribune and made a member of the personal staff of Stilicho, the new generalissimo of the west. Further military adventures take place in Greece, Britain and Italy. A massive barbarian invasion of the west on December 31, 406 triggers political instability leading to revolts in both Britain and Italy. This inevitably leads to the sack of Rome by Alaric and his Visigoths in 410.

    BIG DATA: VOLUME 2

    Price range: $3.99 through $31.99

There is no doubt that information is the most precious commodity for any business. Data is the new gold. Data is information in raw format, while information represents data after processing and analysis. There is data everywhere. We produce a massive amount of data each day through every click on the Internet, every bank transaction, every video we watch on YouTube, and every email we send. The increasing amount of data raises both the opportunities and the challenges of managing it. Today’s organizations depend on data and insights to make most of their decisions. This huge trove of data is now presented under the umbrella term “big data.”
Big data refers to extremely large and complex datasets that exceed the processing capacity of traditional data management systems. It is a combination of structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data that organizations collect, analyze, and mine for information and insights. Big data comes from many sources, including transaction processing systems, customer databases, documents, emails, medical records, Internet clickstream logs, mobile apps, and social networks. It has gained significant popularity and application in various industries, including finance, architecture, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, transportation, supply chain, media and entertainment, oil and gas, space exploration, maritime industry, and the military.
This book is an extension or supplement to a former book, where 16 applications of big data are covered. In this book, we cover additional 11 big data applications. This is a must-read book for anyone who wants to learn about the various applications of big data, which has become vital in many areas of life.

The Search: A Historian’s Search for Historical Jesus

    Price range: $3.99 through $30.99

The Search is neither predominately scholarly, historical, nor inspirational. Rather, it is a book that seeks to understand why Jesus said what he said and did what he did in light of the fact that he was not only a loyal Galilean Jew but he was also a loyal Roman subject, who was probably educated in Greco-Roman influenced schools, who probably worked under the authority of Roman administrators, who ministered under the protection of Roman officials, and who died as a enemy of Rome as mandated by Roman law. The book is not intended to present Jesus in any lesser light than that of deity. Yet, within the context of known Greco-Roman history, customs, philosophies, and manners of the time in which Jesus lived and ministered. It attempts to show under what circumstances his ministry and popularity grew and flourished in Roman Mare Nostrum and then floundered. The Search is historical in that it portrays the life of Jesus as it was in Roman Mare Nostrum East. It is scholarly in that it confirms each Gospel recorded event with non-biblical authenticating documentation. It is inspirational in that it assumes that the Gospel records are the most accurate records available about the life of Jesus and that the word and deeds recorded in the Gospel narratives have been preserved for two millennia because they were the narratives that God felt would be most spiritually beneficial to this Current generation. This book will attempt to discover Jesus’ life by filling in the empty center between birth and death by reaching beyond the bare bones skeleton of historical Jesus and alighting upon the fully developed historical epic of Jesus-the loyal Jewish Roman

subject of Roman Mare Nostrum East.

    A Trip to the Moon

    Price range: $3.99 through $30.99

A Trip to the Moon is the story of the Apollo 11 moon mission described through an interesting story of animals. In the story, a rabbit, a crow and a fish, with a wise old owl travel to the Moon and learn all the scientific facts about the moon through their exciting fun-filled adventures. From my experience as a mother and teacher, I found most children avoid reading pure science books on their own because they appear monotonous to them. Children love stories. So, I have combined science with an interesting story of the animals so that the children will enjoy reading the story and simultaneously learn science.
