- Information Required for DNC Request
To process a Do Not Call request, ARPress requires the following information:
- Full name of the requester
- Phone number(s) to be placed on the DNC list
- Mailing address (optional but preferred for verification)
- Email address (optional)
- Date of the request
Incomplete requests will be acknowledged, and additional information will be requested for accurate processing.
- Processing Timeline
- ARPress will process and honor all valid DNC requests within 10 business days of receipt.
- An internal confirmation email will be sent when the request is logged and completed (if an email address is available).
- Internal DNC List Maintenance
- The Marketing and Compliance Departments will maintain an up-to-date internal DNC list.
- This list will be updated in the CRM system and synced across all outbound call systems.
- Access to the DNC list is restricted to authorized personnel only.
- Cross-Departmental Coordination
- Sales and marketing teams are required to check the DNC list prior to any outbound call activity.
- Any third-party vendors making calls on behalf of ARPress must sign an agreement to comply with ARPress’s DNC policy and use the most updated DNC list.
- Exceptions
- DNC status does not apply to transactional, contractual, or legally required calls (e.g., billing issues, royalty disbursement notices, customer service follow-ups where communication is expected).
- These exceptions will be noted clearly in the customer’s CRM profile.
- Reconfirmation
If the same customer later signs up again for services, submits new inquiries, or interacts with ARPress in a way that implies consent, ARPress may confirm whether the previous DNC request still applies before contacting.
- Recordkeeping and Audit
All DNC requests, communication logs, and confirmation actions are retained for a period of 6 months to 1 year, depending on operational needs and data storage availability.
Due to storage limitations and to minimize financial and compliance exposure, Author Reputation Press reserves the right to securely dispose of DNC records once the applicable retention period has passed, provided such disposal is in accordance with privacy laws and internal data handling policies.
Quarterly audits will be conducted to ensure DNC compliance is being upheld across all departments and platforms.
- Violations and Disciplinary Action
Failure by any individual or entity to follow the Do Not Call (DNC) process will result in disciplinary or corrective action. This applies not only to employees but also to vendors, contractors, partners, stakeholders, and any third parties operating on behalf of or in association with Author Reputation Press.
Disciplinary measures may include, but are not limited to:
- Written warnings
- Mandatory retraining
- Temporary suspension from calling privileges or systems
- Contract suspension or termination
- Permanent disqualification from future engagements with Author Reputation Press
Continued disregard for DNC compliance may also result in legal consequences or reporting to regulatory authorities, depending on the severity of the breach.
