This recipe book was put together by Bernard A. Mayer as a suggestion for anyone who likes cooking and preparing nice dinners for their family and friends when they get together on special holidays and events which occur in many people’s lives. 

On April 8, 1944, at 2 a.m., a child was born in Syracuse, New York, from Hazel M. and Bernard C. Mayer. As he grew older, he worked in restaurants as a busboy, waiter, cook, and finally as a chef at the finer restaurants. His experience as a chef have always given Chef Bernard the passion to try new foods and recipes. After retiring from work in general, he thought he should put together a recipe book where anyone who likes cooking could entertain their family and guests. Bernard A. Mayer
