    You

Working in a family print shop as I grew up led to my career, first in education and then to publishing and dramatic technology development – with R.R. Donnelley, Readers Digest, and Sothebys over 50 years. While working at Columbia University for 5 years “at the turn of the century”, I became fascinated with geothermal energy technology and have since attended conferences and visited geothermal energy sites. (http://thnktnk.net/drill.html) is a paper I wrote on the subject.

Presently I am involved in several community organizations (Library, Parks, Arts, Downtown, Bird Sanctuary) in my hometown where I moved five years ago from New York. I live there with my fiancée whom I re-met at our 50th high school reunion. We have enjoyed Europe, China, and US travels together.

Big Bunches At The Jam Factory: We Are Only Dead If We Are Forgotten

The early 1980s witnessed the rise of a devastating disease that would kill millions worldwide, including thousands of young gay men; what would become known as the HIV/AIDS epidemic. In those dark days, Keith Paulusse transformed his South Yarra flower shop, Big Bunches, into a pioneering refuge and community for young gay men, their loved ones and families.

Paulusse promised his friends that their journeys would not soon be forgotten. Big Bunches at the Jam Factory is their tale, a chronicle of the personalities and events that made Big Bunches a vibrant hub of community activism, spirit, and perseverance. It is also a tale of Paulusse’s own travels, both physically and emotionally, from San Francisco in the heady days of the HIV/AIDS crisis, to the bedsides of dying friends back in Melbourne.

Sahaja Yoga: Heal and Integrate the Subtle Energy System

The book Sahaja Yoga: Heal and Integrate Your Subtle Energy System, written by Saraswati Raman, describes at length the process of activating the dormant Kundalini energy lying within the sacrum bone in each one of us and raising it upward through the chakras along the spinal column through the Sushumna Nadi until it reaches the Sahasrar, or the fontanel bone area, where it unites with the cosmic energy. She speaks of the various healing benefits of Sahaja Yoga: stress management and its utility in attaining an emotional balance.

The second part of the book deals with the use of sound, musical notes, and ragas in the activation and energizing of chakras. Music also has been widely used as therapy through its impact on the energy vortices and, thereby, its influence on the various glands and systems within the body.

The third part speaks about incarnations and how the various Avataras incarnated to give an impetus to evolution on earth more particularly toward helping the momentum in the evolution of humanity. The work is the outcome of her own application of Sahaja Yoga and its impact in bringing about an all-around integration of the personality—physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual.
