Carlson who I might add are two of the finest people ever. Th ey gave me love and a wonderful Christian up-bringing. As I look back over the years gone by, I see their guiding ways that allowed me to learn a trade, raise my family and pursue a passion for writing poems and songs, singing and recording songs and forever giving praise to my Lord and Savior JESUS CHRIST who truly made my life as it is today possible. My wife Linda and I want to thank all the good folks in Beeville that helped me along the way. Global Warming: The Problem
Price range: $3.99 through $17.99In 2007 Wilfred Candler wrote and self-published “Global Warming: The Answer” It advocated a tax of $250 per ton of coal. Unfortunately, it was not widely read. Now (2021), he wants to share his concern that the problems of Climate Change are vastly more multi-dimensional than we had any idea of 14 years ago. It is no longer a simple problem of using fossil fuels. Still, as Christopher Clugston has pointed out, we are rapidly exhausting the world’s supply of a wide range of non-renewable natural resources.
Moreover, fossil fuel companies are actively promoting the continued use of fossil fuels and even supporting environmental groups providing their objection to fossil fuels extends to nuclear. Meanwhile, the world population is almost eight times the level before our use of non-renewable resources, and per capita consumption is a thousand times what it was in 1750.

He also enjoys inventing and of course writing poetry from his home in Florida.

Price range: $3.99 through $23.99Rocks, Roots and Rattlesnakes is the captivating story of my five-month 2020 journey hiking the Appalachian Trail, as told from a geologist’s perspective. It is written as a series of daily logs originally transcribed from my daily journals, then embellished with additional details resulting from further recollection and research. All of the stories are true, and many contain elements of human interest relating to the many fascinating hikers I met on my adventure. Perhaps the most enjoyable aspect of doing such a trek is encountering so many interesting people along the way. My goal in assembling this book was to provide entertainment and information for two main audiences First, for those who have hiked the trail, I included stories relating to places and things all of us have seen, along with frequent observations about those mysterious rocks beneath our feet. For those new to the trail, or who have never hiked long distances, this is a glimpse into the wonders and excitement out there to be discovered, as told by just one of the many thousands of past thru-hikers. The book contains three parts with 26 chapters and reads like a journal log, capturing my challenges and experiences each day on the trail. In addition to the 240 pages of text, there are over 100 beautiful color photos, 6 figures and 6 charts. Hopefully you will find this book both informative and entertaining, as you read and enjoy my tales of 150 days of discovery on the Appalachian Trail!
