When Elizabeth Seither went into her doctor’s office in June 2020, she suffered a mild stroke and was taken to a nearby hospital. While in the hospital and upon a complete physical examination, the doctors learned that she needed a relatively routine colonoscopy, even at age 80. Th is book tells the story of what happened while Liz was in the hospital during the COVID-19 CRISIS and the promise she elicited from her younger sister, Rita, asking her to write a book on her and her family’s lives.

Since no visitors were allowed during this crisis, these two sisters had TIME to talk extensively on the phone over five days. Liz had difficulty concentrating and was very nervous because she was waiting for this procedure to be completed before returning home. However, the two sisters had many phone conversations in which Liz opened up the doors and windows of her entire life!
