It was so distorted that it wasn’t even recognizable. There was nothing on it that could link it to someone. No identification was left on it. No cell phone or wallet or anything of the sort. It only had some clothes on it that were so torn up and destroyed that they didn’t even look like any clothes anymore. They did not cover anything at all. The only thing covering the body was blood. The man’s own blood. That was oozing from all over his body. Because it was as if someone had tried to skin him alive. Or dead. There were no witnesses to tell what exactly happened.
His face was unrecognizable. His fingerprints were shaved away. There was nothing linking him to his identity. So it had taken a lot of time to even investigate who the victim was, let alone the murderer. An artificial face reconstruction had to be done to know who that was. But even when police had identified the victim, they still had no clue who the killer was. He had left no clue behind. At that moment in time, everyone just wished that he wouldn’t be looking for another victim.

Blackout and Poetry

Thanks to my sister for giving me the inspiration to write my story. I began writing poetry in 1995 and life was hard, looking back; God has blessed me, and I have seen a lot in my lifetime. Zion Church and under the leadership of my Pastor, for about 3 years of studying, I had to travel from Hudson to New York and to other churches for my class. I moved to Poughkeepsie, NY and I joined Smith Metropolitan A.M.E. Zion church, and I was ordain on 6-13-98 under the leadership of my pastor, I learned a lot.
