I remember finding a pair of pants in one of the boxes which fit me perfectly. However, I grew taller and my pants unfortunately didn’t. My mom would either sew patches to cover up holes from overuse and she would also sew fabric to the bottom of each pant leg to make them longer. The word for patches in Spanish is parches. So, yes, they do meet in a street, on an elevator, parachuted into Afghanistan with a special force’s unit to a young woman that feels that she should have the same equality as men in Victorian England and dresses like a man then finds herself in love with an aristocrat that thinks it’s his sister and both end up in India. Since Zygier had a stint in the army, he takes that thought in many ways. Some sad, some funny and some serious. Such as an officer in Afghanistan that saves a female reporter from a sniper to a General that doesn’t want to get involved with women till he’s stuck on a plane with one. Though this is Zygier’s first book, he started to write as a hobby and later joined a writer’s group. There he was encouraged to put some stories together and publish them. -

Embracing Freedom: Healing from Within

It requires tenacity, endurance, and a resolve to be completely and forever free. This book was originally written 17 years ago as a doctoral dissertation project about inner healing and deliverance for hurting women and children from sexual trauma and intimate partner violence, relating the narratives of women who have experienced healing. Although its focus during the initial dissertation process was narrowed to only include African American women, it is about all women, men, and children across all cultures. Considering the trauma experienced by the entire world during the COVID-19 pandemic, its expanded chapters include PTSD and other mental health challenges. It also includes research of other cultures. Though the author writes from a biblical based spiritual perspective, by no means is she implying, it is the only method of receiving healing.

Do You Believe In Miracles?

We shared an encounter together in Eloy, Arizona with the “Lady in the Bell Tower” which has had a significant impact on his life, This miraculous event has been witnessed by several hundred people of different faiths and nationalities.
The narratives of miraculous encounters in this book may have an everlasting effect on those who read it and may serve as a segue of common values to a sometimes politically and religiously divided people.
