Being with Becky
$3.99 – $13.99Price range: $3.99 through $13.99No one said a word as we struggled to walk in the blustery cold to the spot where we would gather one more time to be with her. We all stared ahead to the area resting under the large crucifix, where we would say goodbye to her for the last time. I looked at the small, square hole in the frozen ground and started trembling. This would be her final resting place. Choking back tears and gasping to catch my breath, I wondered how a young woman so full of life and goodness could be ripped away from us in such a cruel and horrific manner. How could this have happened? How would we survive? No answers came to me. The only truth was that Becky was dead, and our lives would be forever changed. BEING WITH BECKY is based on the true life-sharing experiences of two sisters from Northwest Ohio. The author weaves tales of their times together from early family gatherings to ski trips with friends, revealing the close bond they treasured deeply. When Becky is tragically killed, the author must wrestle with the emotional chaos that sets in and cripples her spirit. In a world that no longer makes any sense, she desperately tries to pick up the pieces of her life and vows to honor the sister who once called her, my hero.

BETTY, IT’S SHOWTIME!!
$3.99 – $12.99Price range: $3.99 through $12.99Who is Betty?
Betty Marie Stone is an enthusiastic overweight young singer with the desire to one day – see her name in lights. Although she was always complimented as a child because her voice was strong and adult like in church, No one ever said anything to her regarding her looks, smarts, or personality. For some reason, they only focused on her voice. The elder women would say, “Chile you got a gift from God just like your mother,” or they would say, “If you don’t do anything else, you ought to sing.” Raised by a strong, Southern Baptist Grandmother in the middle
of one of the largest Northern Cities was a struggle all in itself. The city lights called to her in a way much different than her counterparts because they had never experienced the darkness of the south. Betty remembered seeing miles and miles of darkness when she was a child. Although they moved to Michigan when she was twelve, she still remembered the dark roads and fields. For some reason, she always felt that the lights made her feel safe and looked after. She thought as long as there were lights, she would never feel the sadness of darkness, nor would she feel alone. Those long dark southern roads seem to escalate the long suffering she endured being alone and forced to care for her mother when she needed care and attention herself.
After years had passed and the city started to quiet down a bit, Betty really started to focus on her future. She was sure that singing would make her happy, but unsure if her desired path was even possible. The pains she endured while trying to pursue her dream as a NON-Gospel singer begins almost immediately. Southern gospel was the ONLY music permitted in Grandma’s house. Grandma seemed to only care about her church and her relationship with her Bible. After the death of her Mother; Betty thought she’d never sing again. Somehow, after those feelings died a bit, the fire and desire to perform still burned brightly in her soul.
Now that she is in her early twenties, she reflects on her feelings as a child, and it still saddens her to admit that she really did feel alone even in the lights. Betty now feels that God’s love is enough to help her through any rough patch. After all the ups and downs she endured, Betty finally found someone worth singing for, herself. NOW nothing can stop her, not even fear or loneliness.
Now it’s time to get the game face on. Betty, It’s Showtime.

Bible Lessons for Broken People
$3.99 – $11.99Price range: $3.99 through $11.99This is a book to hand to a broken teenager captured by pills, pot, or meth. This is a book for a woman from an abusive background who feels unworthy of love. This is a book to hand to a recovering addict, desperately seeking Tough, forceful, and poignant. This is exactly the Bible-study book ministers and Christian counselors have been waiting for! So very many people in the modern world are deeply broken – some are so broken that they refuse to even enter a church. Whether victims of child abuse, neglect, addiction, or sexual exploitation, these broken people, young and old, are crying out for help even as their fierce pride forces them to refuse any help that is offered. When pride is all you have, pride is what you cling too. These broken individuals have lived in hell already, and that fierce, desperate pride kept them alive even as it now blocks their progress.
For those deeply broken people, this book is the answer. It speaks to the brokenness – directly to the heart of the darkness that many broken people feel with each breath, speaking with an authentic, direct message of Jesus’s love and compassion. The Roque Warriors document at the first of this book grabs the broken reader by the throat and lets those individuals know that many others have been in their situation before and have found help in these pages. The Bible lessons themselves tackle the harshest issues facing people today: fear, frustration, a complete, desperate sense of aloneness, homosexuality, child sex abuse, the problem of evil, contemplations of suicide, overwhelming guilt, dark rage, unforgiving hatred, and the deeply felt need to find peace amid the darkness of one’s lost soul. This book does not mince words, and the most challenging issues facing broken people today are presented and discussed herein using the Bible and, when possible, Jesus’s own words.
The minister or counselor should discuss each lesson with these broken ones, leading them through these pages as the broken grow stronger in their newly-found hope: their faith. Even when they read alone without a counselor, this book can reach broken people. It could be a gift for many. It will be a lifeline for some.
As Christians, we know that Jesus can and does change even the most broken lives. This book, presenting Jesus’s love and compassion, will help him do exactly that.

$3.99 – $9.99Price range: $3.99 through $9.99Bible Sticks: An Unlikely Calling is a book that illustrates more than a hobby; it describes a ministry. Ron has had no training and uses only an X-acto® knife, so it is obvious that God has called him to a very unlikely ministry. These unique carvings started out as modest teaching tools for the young people at his church. Now they are used to motivate others, not only by teaching God’s word in a most unique way, but also encouraging the listener to find their own ministry. This book is filled with photos and descriptions of the Bible Sticks, telling the story of each one. Each Bible Stick takes over a year to carve, so you can understand the detail. Bible Sticks: An Unlikely Calling is intended to teach, challenge and inspire others to find their own calling from God.

Biblical and Non-Biblical Evidences For The Book of Mormon: That Show Its Validity As Scripture: A Layman’s Thesis
$3.99 – $24.99Price range: $3.99 through $24.99What about the Book of Mormon? That it is a controversial book cannot be denied. Many do not accept it as scripture. They believe that Joseph Smith, Jr., “wrote” it. They also believe that the Bible is the only scripture ever written, but nowhere does the Bible make that claim. This belief is not biblical. In fact, just the opposite is true. The Bible testifies to the existence of other written scriptures and specifically a second scripture written about the tribe of Joseph (Ezekiel 37:19). This Joseph is the same Joseph of the coat of many colors, the same Joseph sold into slavery in Egypt and the Same Joseph that saved Egypt and all of the tribes of Israel from the seven-year that occurred.
Due to his lack of knowledge and education, if Joseph Smith, Jr., has written The Book of Mormon, it would have been disproven years ago. Instead, as time passes, more and more of it is proven to be correct. Joseph Smith could not have written it for many reasons, not the least of which is the fact that he was a barely literate man. He knew very little of the scriptures and no Hebrew at all. Yet The Book of Mormon is clearly written by highly educated men with a strong background in Hebrew customs and writing techniques, none of which were known by any American in the 1800s. More information on this subject will be explored within this book.
This book was begun by the direction of the Holy Spirit and written to the entire body of Christ. Some might ask why they should read it. Some will read it to try to refute it; others will read it to learn and still, others will use it to further their own agendas. However, you should read it and pray over it, asking God through His Holy Spirit to give you a witness as to its validity
We need direction from the Holy Spirit because we are always vulnerable to error. Even prophets can be deceived (2 Chronicles, Chapter 18). Satan will do anything he can to prevent us from gaining unity in our fight against him. For years he has used the “divide and conquer” plan, and we have fallen prey to it. It is time we stop fighting over our petty differences and start working together for the salvation of all mankind. The harvest is plentiful; it is time to bring it in, and we can do it! With the help of God through His Son Jesus Christ and His Holy Spirit, we can accomplish what would otherwise be impossible on our own.

BIG DATA: VOLUME 2
$3.99 – $31.99Price range: $3.99 through $31.99There is no doubt that information is the most precious commodity for any business. Data is the new gold. Data is information in raw format, while information represents data after processing and analysis. There is data everywhere. We produce a massive amount of data each day through every click on the Internet, every bank transaction, every video we watch on YouTube, and every email we send. The increasing amount of data raises both the opportunities and the challenges of managing it. Today’s organizations depend on data and insights to make most of their decisions. This huge trove of data is now presented under the umbrella term “big data.”
Big data refers to extremely large and complex datasets that exceed the processing capacity of traditional data management systems. It is a combination of structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data that organizations collect, analyze, and mine for information and insights. Big data comes from many sources, including transaction processing systems, customer databases, documents, emails, medical records, Internet clickstream logs, mobile apps, and social networks. It has gained significant popularity and application in various industries, including finance, architecture, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, transportation, supply chain, media and entertainment, oil and gas, space exploration, maritime industry, and the military.
This book is an extension or supplement to a former book, where 16 applications of big data are covered. In this book, we cover additional 11 big data applications. This is a must-read book for anyone who wants to learn about the various applications of big data, which has become vital in many areas of life. -

Bleeding Kansas and the American Civil War
$29.99 – $58.99Price range: $29.99 through $58.99This book includes events that led up to the American Civil War. Kansas is where it all began. The book starts out with the U.S. Presidential Elections of 1852 and the passage of the Kansas-Nebraska Act in 1854, which allowed settlers, not Congress, to determine by popular vote, if they wanted to be admitted into the United States as a Free State or a Slave State. Streams of emigrants began to settle from Midwestern States, Northern States, and Southern States to make land claims in the Kansas Territory. It became a battleground. Politics, violent murders, rivalry governments, and election fraud in Kansas Territory, all played an important role leading up to the American Civil War. Abolitionist John Brown, his militants, and his sons, played a role in the violent murders in the Kansas Territory. Details of John Brown’s raid into neighboring State of Missouri are also included, where he freed 11 slaves, murdered a slave owner, and stole several ox, wagons, supplies, and valuables. He was condemned by both Free-State and Pro-Slavery newspapers across the country, as well as the President of the United States and the Governor of Missouri, who both off ered a combined reward of $3,250 for the capture of John Brown. He was a wanted man on the run. John Brown’s unsuccessful raid on Harpers Ferry, Virginia, including Robert E. Lee and J.E.B. Stuart’s involvement, and John Brown’s subsequent hanging are noted in the book. All major battles during the Civil War in Kansas are mentioned in the book, with troops strength details, casualty details, and colored battlefi eld maps showing the positions of the troops, including Maj Gen Sterling Price’s retreat southwards with 500 supply trains, and Quantrill’s Lawrence Massacre, where over 200 men and boys in town were killed, and the town was pillaged and burned. Th is massacre became the bloodiest atrocity in the American Civil War. The book summarizes the places to stay and places to visit in Kansas by County, including battlefi elds, historical sites, museums, and cemeteries.

Blessed by the Grace of God
$10.99Blessed by the Grace of God is about how the Lord has always been by my side even when I took a wrong turn in life. He never gave up on me. God has blessed me so many times and his blessings continue. I am now fully devoted to the Lord. No matter what we do, God loves us more than we will ever know. I wrote this book because, no matter what I did in the past, God still loves me, and wants me to learn from my mistakes, and most of all He will always be there for me.

Book of Hard Facts
$3.99 – $17.99Price range: $3.99 through $17.99I was sitting in a waiting room and looked for something to read. There were a couple of children’s books and that was it. I thumbed through them – same books sixty years ago.
I thought I needed to do a children’s book. – A parent could interact with. So, I came up with “Hard Facts.”
It’s compiled of things that mom and dad would tell you not to do, and like most children, it went in one ear and out the other. It was never retained in the brain. So, when your mom and dad weren’t around, you did it.
I talked to the ER nurses, and they gave me actual situations that happened over the years by children that did not listen.
I found an artist and we came up with “Diputs” and reacted out each possible rule ending in possible death.
I showed the book to teachers, police, doctors, and firefighters and got great reviews. Around 80% of “mothers” said it was too graphic for their children.
I went back to the drawing board and tamed it down. Now, about 50% of mothers said to tame it down more. So, it went back to the artist one more time and we decided that it was enough.
It’s not a perfect world and you can’t wrap your children in bubble wrap. Nobody can watch their children 24-7. Kids will be kids, but with “Hard Facts,” you can go page by page with your child and this time it won’t go in one ear and out the other.

Boston Darkens
$3.99 – $8.99Price range: $3.99 through $8.99The Kenyan runner was the favorite to win this year’s Boston Marathon. At least that’s what the sports broadcaster blurted on Ben’s car radio. He was on the Mass Pike, making his way through heavy traffic. Just a few more miles to go. Suddenly a shockwave of energy burst through the air. Ben’s car shut down.
Dumbfounded, he held tight to the steering wheel. What the fuck, he thought. His Honda Accord was new. He turned the ignition switch over, but there was nothing. He tried the lights, windows, and door, but again nothing. It was just dead as a doornail. “Damn,” he muttered and grinned. After a minute he looked around him. It wasn’t rush-hour traffic. He was in a huge parking lot.
Jessica, Ben’s daughter, was in her classroom. As a high school student, she was coming down the home stretch. Her whole life was ahead of her. The teacher was beginning the first lesson. Click the lights, and computers went off. “Stay calm” the teacher said. Seconds turned into minutes. A student raised his hand.
He had to go to the bathroom. Confusion and anxiety set in. The principal was beside himself. What was the protocol for this? There was no cell phone reception, and the police or fire departments weren’t showing up. Minutes turned into hours. Action was required. Would he make the wrong decision? Would he endanger lives? Would he be sued? His pay grade was high but not high enough for this.
Ben, Alice (his wife), Randy (his son), and Jessica were living the American dream. They were now confronted by an evil act of aggression, a life-changing event for this wholesome family, their neighbors, and everyone within hundreds of miles. This drama portrays a family’s efforts to survive. In their struggle, they are joined together by an unlikely collection of heroes—Ben, his shy teenage daughter, Jessica, and her friend Vivian. He has a rebellious son named Randy and an eccentric recluse of a neighbor who’s an intellectually challenged adult. There is a neighborhood construction contractor, a keen, quiet-spoken hip Native American father a fair-play, Easy Rider biker dude, a couple of “fly by the seat of their pants” local cops, the Massachusetts Turnpike, and of course Randy’s lovingly restored classic: a 1958 Buick. You’ll have to read it to believe it.

Boston Flickers
$3.99 – $8.99Price range: $3.99 through $8.99Jessica had been bicycling hard for two hours in a desperate attempt to be with her boyfriend Joshua. Her father had basically forbidden any further contact. With nothing else to live for, she was on a dangerous journey. It was bad enough to drive through this lawless countryside in a vintage car. Alone, on a bicycle, it was almost unthinkable. Exhausted, she laid down on the side of the road and made peace with the Lord.
An EMP blast has littered most roads in the eastern U.S. with stalled cars, their modern computer-based ignitions fried beyond repair. Ben Randall had formed a survival collaborative with his neighbors. They had to venture out for food, water and medicines while trying to avoid local gangs of thugs. Local governments were operating with skeletons crews at best. Officer Ryan was one of the few Massachusetts State Police officers who had transportation and was able to remain at his post. As a member of Ben’s collaborative, he coordinated the formation of a new collaborative. It took an hour’s drive with the non-computerized antique Buick that Ben’s son Randy had lovingly restored.
Daniel was the leader of the new collaborative. He was a talented man who spoke a number of languages, was a decent musician, and had the natural gift to be a good salesman. Trouble is, he is not a hands-on guy. Starting in the mix in the new collaborative was Daniel’s wife, who is often at odds with him, and his son Joshua. Ah, Joshua, the apple does not fall far from the tree. Leaving college early, Joshua’s dreams were like those of his dad. He was also gifted with the gab, loved sales and meeting people. He too was worldly, spoke several languages, and come across as a handsome, confident young man.
When the two collaborative meet, it is the encounter of Jessica and Joshua that sets off a tangled journey through danger, survival and love. It inflicts family wounds and eventually pushes the two lovers to leave for “tent city”. Like the first book, “Boston Darkens”, you will find this story fast paced, and captivating to the end.
“Boston Flickers” is a story of family conflict, friends, and romance, mixed-in with the wit of a unique cast of characters.

Boys of Babylon
$3.99 – $10.30Price range: $3.99 through $10.30There is a small tourist trap in the Northern Midwest. A trap may be exactly what it is. People go for the fudge, but is it good enough to risk their lives for? In Midwestern fashion, dark secrets are covered up and disguised as quaint diners, candy shops, and beautiful vacation homes. During the summer of 2004, like every year, tourists make their way into town. However, this year, six pubescent boys take advantage of several unsuspecting vacationers, sending them to a watery grave on a popular recreational river. This rite of passage turns on the town when tragedy strikes one of their own. The children’s parents are forced to come face to face with the sadistic games of their once “sweet angels.” But how does one handle a child without coming to terms with such a twisted reality in a place where no one wants to confront their demons?

Bread and Butter: Poems of the Spirit
$3.99 – $13.99Price range: $3.99 through $13.99From an early age, I wrote an occasional poem about many varied subjects. I love nature and animals, thus in my youth, I wrote about the world around me. As I got into high school and beyond, I began writing a little more regularly and began to narrow my themes to the religious. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the mainstay of my life, thus the majority of my poems are religious in nature. Jesus Christ is the Bread of life and this concept is reflected in my title, the butter in life, is everything else!

Brides for A King: Fathers, Daughters and the National Interest: England & France 1660-1
$3.99 – $24.99Price range: $3.99 through $24.99Luke is ordered by the King to investigate the intrigues and deaths surrounding the King’s forthcoming marriage-with particular emphasis on England’s foreign policy and national security.
The increased attacks on past mistresses and potential wives might be central to these concerns or stem from the simple jealousy of women anxious to obtain the King’s favour or lying about their past relationships, conflicts often within the same family; or do these current problems stem from events that occurred during the King’s decade in exile; or the current greed and ambition of powerful noble dynasties.

Bridging the Chasm
$3.99 – $8.99Price range: $3.99 through $8.99Bridging the Chasm is about two brothers, in love with the same girl as they go through adventures and trials spanning almost thirty years. It starts with
the tremendous flood that created the Salton Sea in 1905, follows a battle in WW1 that credited the U. S. Marines as a separate fighting force in America, the battle of Belleau Wood. It ends in 1934 with all characters, both major and minor meeting at the construction of Hoover Dam and the build up of a city known as Las Vegas. We follow them through these periods and watch them develop along with minor characters through to the tumultuous
ending where lives are lost and the two that should be together do not get together at the end.. It is fast paced with family adventure, danger, violence,
humor, a little romance and history. The characters are fictional, the events happened in the past so I guess you could say it’s semi-fictional. Sort of like
a bridge between fiction and non-fiction.
After the end of the book, all 48 states of the United States that contributed men/materials and companies will be listed plus other historical contributions
in the construction of Hoover Dam during the Great Depression.

Brightfire: A Tale of Sutton Hoo
$3.99 – $10.99Price range: $3.99 through $10.99Born in Zambia, I lived in Cape Town, before leaving on a transport ship in 1944 to return ‘home’ to England. My parents wanted to be with their families, even though World War 2 had not ended.
We lived in Kent, Surrey, Yorkshire and Norfolk before I went to Royal Holloway College, University of London, to read English (including Old English and Modern Drama). I have lived and taught in Suffolk since my marriage in 1964, and eventually became Head of English and Drama at Woodbridge School.
What is important to me? My family; literature, both reading and writing; theatre, on both sides of the curtain and travel. I am very fortunate to have travelled almost worldwide, from Iceland to Australia.
I am a National Trust volunteer at Sutton Hoo (site of the famous ship burial and treasure) and a Sutton Hoo Society Guide. I thoroughly enjoy sharing the history of Sutton Hoo with thousands of visitors each year. Renewing my acquaintance with the Anglo-Saxons re-awakened my interest in their language, culture and customs, and lead me to write two Anglo-Saxon historical novels based in the land of the Wuffings in the 7th century AD.
Apart from this writing, among the most exciting things I have done are swimming with dolphins on the Florida Keys, scuba-diving on the Great Barrier Reef and acting in the National Drama Festivals, where I was lucky enough to get a nomination in the Final.
Writing is something of a fourth career, as I have also worked as a TV film extra and run a local bookshop. As our forebears knew, life is for living and knowledge is for sharing: I enjoy giving talks to local societies and book clubs as well as doing book-signings.
