Sins Of A Mulatto Outcast: An 18-Hole Wayward Identity Quest: 2nd Edition Round 1

Homer grows up knowing he looks different than most kids in his neighborhood. Although both his parents are African American, his appearance more closely resembles a Caucasian. As he struggles to fit in with others in his African American race, Homer faces prejudice and bullying by those who brand him “the white kid,” until he decides to fight back, transforming himself and his attitude forever. On his wayward journey to removing himself from his surroundings, Homer feels his looks are a curse which sets off a series of horrific events that test all his emotions. To others it seems as though Homer has been given all the keys to unlock the American Dream. Unfortunately, they are unaware of his sins as a youth. As Homer relives his experiences, joys, and challenges through the metaphorical structure of eighteen holes of golf, he shines a light on his determined quest to overcome his outcast label, accept his mixed heritage, seek forgiveness, and-more importantly-love himself. Sins of a Mulatto Outcast tells the compelling tale of one man’s struggles to embrace his uniqueness in order to achieve happiness in life.

Forgive Us Our King: Healing for Your Soul

I came up with this title after completing my chapters I wanted to talk about. Looking at this world and the reality of it grieves my heart. Knowing the reality of the life I have lived and most people in my territory, we need to be forgiven for the sake of our children and our children’s children. It says in the Bible that God feels what we feel. He hurts when we hurt. Even for the souls that have gone on before us, if they did not ask God to forgive them for the things they have done on this earth, I ask for forgiveness as well. Forgiveness is very important for everyone if they want to be forgiven. If we do not forgive, we hold animosity in our hearts. Holding animosity in our hearts leads to heart disease and even heart failure. No one is worth you soul, so give it to Jesus Christ today. He will fight for you. Our job is to love one another in Jesus’s name. Amen.

Our Inner Struggle Untangled: Revelation Deciphered

    This book is concerned with deciphering across a process that enhances the texts of Revelation with data regarding the “End Times” of individuals rather than the “End Times” of the world. The deciphered texts do not usurp the original texts but are dependent on them. The deciphering process is unique as it is a discovery of a process, not an invitation of one. The work was like a crypto quote where one letter stands for another;

the difference is that one word stands for another. This book is for Adult Christians who seek a spiritual lift and want to “get back on the wagon “so to speak regarding their faith walk. And for those who would appreciate the spiritual jolt this book provides.

Martin Dorman was born at Mercy Hospital on the south side of Chicago. His parents sent him and his older siblings to church, never attending themselves, except that his Mom started attending in her late 60’s. He attended Chicago’s Ashland Christian Church in his younger years, taking a break from church during his teen years, attending sporadically until late in his nine-year military career where his older bother introduced him to Mr. Herbert Armstrong and the Worldwide Church of God. He remained a member of this church over 30 years, most of that during extreme legalism, and through the time it had a major doctrinal change to Christ-centered worship. He’s now been a member of Mesa First Church of the Nazarene for two years. Pastor Ira Brown and the congregation are very warm and loving. It’s Martin’s second home. His two favorite hymns are, “Oh, How I Love Jesus,” and “To God be the Glory” He presently lives in Mesa, Arizona, and his daily goal is to live according to God’s will and follow His path.

    Tormentas

Pony Ride to an Awakening: The Journey of a Mystic

We are closest to the Spirit at the beginning of our life, just entering incarnation from the Spirit, and at the end of our life, as we prepare to return to the Spirit. Along the way, encounters of an otherworldly kind happen to many people; by sharing them, we can find similarities among us and trust that these events are real and not imagined.

In Pony Ride to an Awakening, author Hedin E. Daubenspeck described spiritual episodes from early childhood, adolescence, early adulthood, maturity, retirement unto renunciation, and then consciousness beyond death. He presents some of his psychic experience and a few stories of his friends and family in the hope that they serve as a guide for those seeking spiritual awareness. We come from the Spirit and will return to the Spirit. There is nothing to fear from our teachers and ancestors in communicating with the Spirit to give us guidance, answer, wisdom, and vision in this often difficult earthly life experience. As we unfold our development going forward with open eyes and mind, we find that the truth unfolds and becomes more refined, like a lotus flower.

Building on personal narratives, this guide to spiritual awareness considers psychic experiences, intuition in daily life, and the mystical inner journey that can lead to self-realization.

Construction Engineering and Inspection: What You Learn in The Field

This book serves as a training tool that teaches how to write helpful daily reports. The content of this work is knowledge acquired outside the classroom.

The information included is valuable because it informs about what is expected of inspection teams when writing daily construction reports. The content is relevant because it describes the information that construction, engineering, and inspection managers need to bring the project to its successful completion.

Knowing how to write useful daily reports is vital to provide inspection services that meet customer expectations.

The central theme of this volume is to properly document the daily activities and critical events of the construction site. Nevertheless, it also reflects on issues that answer the question of whether contractors and inspectors are enemies.

Experts use the methodology shown when supervising highway construction, but users can apply it to other types of infrastructure work.

Consultants will benefit significantly from these pages because their employees will know a successful way to anticipate emerging risks consistently and, therefore, be more effective in delivering good quality projects.

The book is essential for new inspectors or young engineers seeking guidance on how to report on road construction work. This book shortens their learning curve and helps them get the recognition they will need to advance their careers.

    Storms

Although the news bulletin confirmed her decision to evacuate, Elise didn’t want to hear another minute of forecasts, preparations, and predictions. Brad searched until he found a nice easy listening channel, and drove through the rain on surprisingly deserted roads. Apparently, the rest of the city heeded the warnings long before the Steiners. As the car ventured through the quiet stillness of the calm before the storm, the children slept, while their parents and grandparents sat in silence, looking out at the Louisiana wetlands bordering the interstate highway.

At one point, in their lonely journey, a caravan of paramedic units and ambulances passed them up, in the left lane Elise felt her flesh creep as she watched these people go by, imagining how frightened they must be, dealing not only with the pain and uncertainty of an illness, but also, their sole reliance on total strangers to fi nd a safe haven for them during the storm Each of those patients was someone’s mother or father, a grandparent, or a sibling, or, worse yet, someone’s child. “Thank you, God,” she whispered, again, and turned around to look at each member of her family, as though she had to make sure everyone was still there with her.

Letters Of Life: Whispers, Secrets, & Lies

Letters of Life is a collection of perceptive, achingly honest poems that offer a decisive view which makes no apologies. These verses attempt to simplify rather than complicate the common ills which plague humanity. Often providing insight into life’s often messy entanglements.

These poems are divided into three separate sections. In “Whispers” we examine those things that people speak softly about under breath. The poems in “Secrets” reflect a pool of applied wisdom and answers to personal questions. And “Lies” deals with rumors, half-truths, and false impressions. Tying all the poems together is an undercurrent of truth.

“For in truth, there is love, in love, there is understanding. In understanding, there is forgiveness.”

In this stunning collection, whispers will cease; secrets will be revealed; and lies will manifest-but the truth will remain evident throughout.

Last of the Small Towns: Short Stories

Last of the Small Towns: Short Stories is a charming collection of tales that recount the boyhood years of author Stewart Hyson. From gatherings in the “Indian Graveyard” through unprecedented encounters with baby chicks, here is a sentimental recounting of a range of colourful juvenile adventures experienced by a boy during a time that was poignantly more innocent than today.

Hantsport, Nova Scotia, might have been a small place during the 1950s and early 1960s, but it was a veritable hive of activity in certain sectors and for certain segments of its lively population-especially through a kid’s eyes. In this memoir, Hyson invites readers to share his childish perspective of the postwar years on the streets of this little town. With a strong wash of nostalgia that characterizes his memory of his time there, Hyson shares his growing-up experiences of such preoccupations of the time as Sputnik and the widespread introduction of television.

Last of the Small Towns: Short Stories is a labour of love that delivers readers back into their own childhoods, so vividly painted are its scenes. It is this energy, this devotion to subject, that are the book’s greatest strength.
