The Theory of the Naked Truth of Allah, Muhammad, and the Quran

    Price range: $3.99 through $28.99

This book postulates a theory based on verified facts of investigative history. This book is fundamentally a history analytica of the Arabian Peninsula in the 6th and 7th century C.E. with focus on the Prophet of Islam Abul Qasim Muhammad bin Abdullah. The facts of history from which this theory emerged, as well those passages of the Quran that also support this theory, are the contents of this book.

The theory postulates that Muhammad was a highly intelligent, wise, and far-sighted person, who had many rare qualities. He had an uncanny sense of judging individuals and communities. A great planner and executor of complicated and long drawn plans. He harbored the unique ambition of conquering the entire Arabian Peninsula and becoming its sole ruler. The problem was that the numerous tribes, both settled and nomads, had a long history of in-fighting, and blood feuds, spread over generations. To raise a large and united army, Muhammad had to inculcate inter-tribe and intra-tribe unity, peace, and harmony. He had to be in a position to command and control their behavior; introduce and execute social reforms to end the hostilities and enmities for good. Muhammad, according to this theory, decided to announce that Almighty Allah, the sole creator of the Universe, divinely ordained him as His Prophet and Messenger, more glorified than all previous prophets sent before Muhammad. Prophethood would enable Muhammad to command total submission from the Arabs, thus helping him achieve his objectives. Muhammad to command total submission from the Arabs, thus helping him achieve his objectives. Muhammad announced that the ArchAngel Gabriel brought words from Allah appointing Muhammad as Allah’s Most Exalted Prophet for mankind. That ArchAngel Gabriel continued to bring him the revelations from Allah for 22 long years. HOWEVER, NO ONE BUT MUHAMMAD ALONE, COULD SEE, HEAR, AND CONVERSE WITH GABRIEL. To all other humans, Gabriel was invisible and inaudible. There was no worldly proof or verification that Gabriel ever came, or even existed for that matter. All else flows from this flaw.

    Connections

    Price range: $3.99 through $15.99

Contrary to the dazzling wealth, glitz and glamour portrayed in the media, the Upper East Side of Manhattan is not only glass penthouses, hedge fund managers, and $500 dinners. There are also ordinary side streets where hard-working singles rent, where roommates split expenses, where elderly women live orderly lives. For many of them, home means a loving animal, the steadfast presence that shares a life, hears a secret, heals a hurt, claims the heart.

That’s how it is for long-term resident Rosa Bassetti. There is no better friend than Princess, her arthritic Poodle. Rosa’s neighbor, Eileen Hargan, feels the same about Fibber McGee, her little Boston Terrier. Strangers at first, the two senior citizens become friends as they meet while walking their dogs, come sun, rain, or snow.

Their peaceful routine is shattered when Eileen receives an anonymous note demanding money, threatening to kidnap or hurt her dog if she doesn’t pay. A dangerous criminal? Cruel prankster? Rosa is determined to find out.

Played out against Manhattan’s aging brownstones, tree-lined streets and pre-war buildings, CONNECTIONS brings together an intriguing cast of New Yorkers-a same-sex couple, a tough social worker finding love, a troubled boy, a lonely office manager-who all come together through their love for animals, and join forces against a terrifying menace.

Author Jackie Wein writes with warmth, subtle wit, and intimate knowledge of the powerful bonds we share with our four-legged families. Sometimes, it is our beloved pets that help us to get through life’s difficult experiences. But, as CONNECTIONS never lets us forget, the ultimate connection is with each other.

A Negro Death: Minstrelsy: An African American Experience in the Development of Black Popular Culture:A Socio-Cultural Story of the African American Blues Experience during Ante Bellum and Reconstruction: Volume 1

    Price range: $3.99 through $22.99

DEATH OF THE NEGRO volume 1

“The ancestors of the Negro in America brought their songs with them into slavery”

[Negro Music in New York – a chronological survey”. Federal Writers Project, 1936-38.]

During the period of the antebellum south, “Sorrow-songs” or “Escapist songs” were placed in a similar category to the unpardonable songs because they were freedom songs that applied the same minor traditional tones from Africa as the songs already hated by the master. Later, at the beginning of the 20th Century, Spirituals and Sorrow songs were confused as coming out of the same whishes by collectors and religious apologists.

Please remember that many to the communities forcibly migrated from Africa were familiar with Hymns because of their immigration from Egypt thousands of years before. What we hear today is, all of the song were performed in what are referred to as “the blues”. As stated by Gellert, this music was brought from Africa with the,. This music was adapted to the current circumstances and has continued until the present.

The intellectual nature of these Escapists compositions was never promoted. Thus, because of how the actual songs were sung, the intent of the lyrics was not understood. Only Gellert understood the use of the word Escapist as a metaphor of “Sorrow Songs” urging the populous to take the Underground Railroad to escape to freedom. Freedom represented the name avoided.

The idea in giving this lecture as a narration/dialogue play short story is to create a setting in which the scholar learners may visualize the conditions people lived. The point is to use a lyric poet to speak about the feeling the oppressed poor felt during the time these songs were composed and delivered. The accompanying lyric post is an African American blues singer. This lyric poet comes from particular reference points because his lyrics are universal to all poor people of the world.
