Murder at the House of Funerals
$3.99 – $25.99Price range: $3.99 through $25.99It’s almost Halloween! The perfect holiday for sweet munchies, monsters, and murder! Attorney Tracy Brubaker Shane is especially looking forward to October 31, 2019, because a childhood hero will be returning to the small screen – live! Former horror host Richard George, aka Dr. Mort Itchin, comes out of retirement to again present a classic horror film from his House of Funerals, and Tracy will be in the studio audience. She even manages to be invited to rehearsals. But soon after her arrival behind the scenes, she realizes everyone is not wallowing in happy nostalgia. The thorn is everyone’s side is Carl Jeffries, who once-upon-a-time played Dr. Mort’s sidekick, Nagging Skeleton. Jeffries daughter, Megan Wallace, is producing the program. But there’s no love lost between father and child. The show’s director is in love with Megan and isn’t too pleased with the friction Jeffries is causing. Other crew members have their own reasons for despising Jeffries. When the violence finally erupts in a most appropriate, if grisly, fashion, Tracy is right there to begin her investigation, especially when her hero is charged with the crime. Not surprisingly, she discovers multiple possible motives including buried secrets, sheer hatred, and old-fashioned showmanship. But can Tracy find the truth in time so the show can go on? It’s another Tracy Brubaker mystery filled with tricks, treats, and surprises. Happy Halloween!

The Triumph of CAPITALISM: The Time is Now, Communism and the Fed will End and America Will Return to the Gold Standard
$3.99 – $10.95Price range: $3.99 through $10.95July 4, 2026, marks the 250th birthday of these United States of America.
You may not know it, but the American Revolution was not fought over taxation by the British.
In his diary Benjamin Franklin said,
“The colonies would gladly have born the little tax on tea and other matters had it not been that England took away from the colonies their money, which created unemployment and dissatisfaction. The inability of the Colonists to get power to issue their own money permanently out of the hands of George III and the international bankers was the prime reason for the American Revolutionary War.”
The Federal Reserve is what is known as a Central Bank. John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, and James Madison were all opposed to a Central Bank because of its foreign influence. It is no different today. The Federal Reserve was created illegally. That is, it is against the Constitution. The Constitution states that the monetary system should be in the hands of Congress. The FED has failed miserably in its primary mission to stop recessions and depressions. No one can be blamed for the inflation we see today, except the Federal Reserve! It must pay interest to its stockholders.
The US has a 30 trillion-dollar National Debt, and it must be paid back somehow. Even confiscating the peoples Gold as Roosevelt did would not put a dent in the National Debt.
The Founding Fathers were for the most part, God fearing people. Let’s finish what they so gallantly fought for, before July 4, 2026, and end the Fed and our ties to the International Bankers.

Still Standing : A Personal Journey to Find the Heart of God and to Restore Mine
$3.99 – $11.99Price range: $3.99 through $11.99Growing up in a prairie farm family, with a very close-knit church community, Paull Vollmin is raised to believe that a Christian should be different. But somehow, even though the Bible tells him that he has changed when he’s accepted by Jesus as his savior, he doesn’t feel changed. And as Paul enters a rebellious stage, he starts to indulge his own personal failures, losing touch with his faith and living a lie after lie. One day, as a young husband and father, he just can’t sustain it any longer and finds himself hospitalized for severe depression and considering suicide as a viable way out. Still Standing is Paul’s personal story of coming to terms with the past and present in light of a faith in Jesus Christ. Be forewarned, his journey is no idealized picture of what a Christian should look like, but a discovery of how a real life, warts and all, can be transformed by a real God. In frank and frequently very funny fashion, Still Standing provides full disclosure in its chronicle of God reaching into the darkest corners of a man’s being, to bring light and healing to a life of faith gone wrong.

While Men Sleep
$3.99 – $15.99Price range: $3.99 through $15.99While Men Sleep is a concise five-day study about being an informed decision-maker regarding spiritual matters. Paul told Timothy in latter times some will depart from the faith because they are giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons (1 Timothy 4:1) While the desire to be an alert, informed consumer of products and services is on the rise, we see the opposite trend when it comes to the spiritual. This results in many being deceived. Paul exhorted in Romans 13:11 to those who understand the present time, now is the time to awake out of sleep. While Men Sleep is dedicated to the watchmen among God’s people (Ezekiel chapter 33) who sound the alarm in Zion.
Enter through the narrow gate, For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it (Matthew 7:13-14 NIV)

You are like an evergreen pine that has stood the test of times. At that time, the name Evergreen Pines: Book of Religious Poetry was born.

Jesus Is Looking Down “On A Sinful World”
$4.00 – $9.99Price range: $4.00 through $9.99Jesus is looking Down” teaches substantially how people can clear the destruction of their sins, the gift of repentance; power of unity and also how important it is for Christians to pray continually throughout life and worship God even after having repented, when man is never clear of sin or sin approaching in whatever the means. Explanations are highlighted with scriptures from the bible along with the author’s commentary. An additional inclusion consists of a short version memoir illuminating reason and actual connections to God’s unfailing hand. This book inspires thought and encouragement to support a clear walk with God. As a young child, I knew that God was guiding me, revealing things to me, in visions and in dreams though I did not understand completely what was happening, I just accepted it. In 1980 I became a member of Faith Temple Apostolic Church under the leadership of Bishop Jerry McCullough. While there I taught Sunday school, did volunteer work at the state hospital, received presidency of the mother’s board, and was in charge of Monday night prayer service. In 1993 I was ordained a minister, I moved to Alachua, Florida in 1995. In 1995 I became a member of St. Luke AME Church under the leadership of Pastor Walter Lassiter. I worked in the ministry along with the late Rev. Alexander Holmes. I also assisted in 12:00 prayer service. From 1998 to 2003 I worked as part of the ministerial staff with Rev. Keeton, Rev. Denmark, Dr. Sconiers, Rev. McGriff and Rev. McCaslin. Presently, I am working under the leadership of my Pastor Rev. James Watkins Jr. I also have a jail ministry teaching, praying, encouraging and giving biblical counseling to young women. I have earned a master’s degree in Ministerial Theology and two doctorates, one Evangelism and the other Christian Philosophy in theology.

Paradise Lost
$3.99 – $12.69Price range: $3.99 through $12.69‘This book is set in London and Southern France at the end of the 20th century. There are two central characters, Judith and Annabel. Judith is a young artist who meets and falls in love with Claude who is doing his doctorate on the painter Vincent Van Gogh and the causes of his mental disintegration. Judith’s mother is an alcoholic. Her father is a property developer. Annabel is a financial advisor to the NHS. Her job is deficit reduction within the NHS. These two diverse characters are drawn into a complex relationship, which is not of their making, and for much of the story they are unaware of the threads that bind them. These threads slowly tighten and strengthen until they are inexorably bound together. We are asked to explore the question of how much one human being owes to another, and whether or not some people deserve to be murdered. Can murder ever be justified?’

HOW TO END POVERTY IN THE WORLD IN JUST 15 YEARS
$3.99 – $9.95Price range: $3.99 through $9.95Today, with so much know-how existing on this planet, there are still billions of people in extreme poverty. Outside of developed countries, a large part of humanity lives in poverty, and governments of the majority of countries do not know what to do to bring prosperity to the countries they rule.
The people who live in poor countries have lost hope and do not know what to do to solve the chronic problem of poverty they live in. These people have accepted poverty as a fact or something they cannot do anything about. The unique solution that many people find is to travel to a rich country and become illegal immigrants. But is poverty really a problem nobody can do anything about? Can all the people of the world solve the problem of poverty and live a life characterized by prosperity like the one found in the United States? If you want to know the answer to these two questions, this book is for you.
In this book, I will describe a brand new economic model that, as you will see, will be able to bring prosperity to any country in the world, and bring the standards of living of the poorest countries in the world today to the standards of the most developed countries in as little as fifteen years. So hold your breath and read this book, and you will see how I leave no stone unturned when proposing a new economic model that will be able to put an end to poverty in the world within our lifetime; culminating in the establishment of a perfect society on earth; a society where reigns harmony, peace and love.

Sharecropper to Entrepreneur to Pastor
$3.99 – $14.99Price range: $3.99 through $14.99There’s an old question about whether a person will be a thermometer or a thermostat in life. A thermometer merely registers the temperature of the surroundings, but a thermostat actually controls the temperature. This inspiring story demonstrates how during the major junctures in his life, John Womack has and continues to be a thermostat.
Growing up in a Virginia sharecropping family in the midst of pernicious racism and economic deprivation, Womack was able to learn how to overcome these obstacles without losing his belief that human beings are basically good and will do right when given the opportunity. Throughout his life, he combined his creative vision not only with the necessary business acumen, but also with moral and ethical responsibility in spite of an environment of greed, egotism, and selfishness. Regardless of his position–whether in the navy or as an entrepreneur, husband, father, student, pastor, board member, and friend–Womack has acquitted himself with a spiritual consciousness that girded him with the capability to overcome the barriers to progress and prosperity.
He never abandoned his fundamentally Christian orientation amid a variety of temptations.
Remaining humble through all these endeavors, Womack longs to share his life work with today’s youth, young adults, and others. He yearns to encourage them to believe–despite surrounding hardships and institutional barriers–that they can transcend their existential circumstances and make something out of their lives. By sharing his life story, Womack hopes to encourage others to confront today’s challenges with wisdom, faith, hope, and love. Certainly, the Rev. Dr. John Womack–sharecropper, veteran, entrepreneur, husband, father of three, pastor, and author–exemplifies this possibility and personifies this truth.

TRASHED or TREASURED?: A Short, Practical Theology of Aging
$4.99 – $12.99Price range: $4.99 through $12.99“Fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14-16) in God’s image (Genesis 1:29-27) – mankind, at any age, is respected and valued by his Creator. How we treat the older adult is a reflection of our spiritual life (Leviticus 19:32). Men and women in their old age should not be rejected but rather reconnected and cared for by the family and the church. Assistance should be provided to help the older adult find purpose and a way to serve God until the last breath. From the first breath all in the human race begin a journey that hopefully ends with an abundant entrance into eternal life: crossing a bridge from life’s experience to life eternal, having lived a life of eternal significance and purpose… leaving a legacy for the coming generations. (See Philippians 3:12-14, 2 Peter 1:5-15 and Psalm 71:18.)”
“As the church prepares to minister to the wave of aging Boomers who will challenge the resources and programs of the church, it seems obvious that we need to develop a clear, consistent, and practical theology of aging. As one of the deans at Bethel Seminary I realize how important this is for training our emerging leaders. I believe that Chaplain Glenn Havumaki has penned an essential tool to train and prepare the next generation of pastoral leaders. This is a good resource for anyone who leads a church or is training to do so.” Dr. Douglas W. Fombelle, Dean Emeritus Bethel Seminary.

Organ Orgasms: My Experiences with Conscious Blood Flow
$9.99 – $49.99Price range: $9.99 through $49.99Conscious blood flow (CBF) is about enhancing our physical, mental, and spiritual wellbeing through the pleasurable and mindful exercising of your body’s internal arteries and organs. This is brought about by becoming attuned to your natural abilities to just “be” and by learning to sense your interior body, and then being able to consciously direct and control the flow of your blood. And, one can orgasm many organs, hence the book’s title of Organ Orgasms.
Despite the catchy (but true) title, this book is about the mystery and joy of experiencing one’s existence in a unique way (an aspect of being), and about discovering our bodies and nourishing them so we can experience our lives in the healthiest and longest way possible (an aspect of wellbeing).
Thus, Organ Orgasms is really about being and wellbeing. It will enable people (no matter what stage they are at in life) to see more clearly into themselves, and then use the book as a guide in developing their own personal plan for living more joyously and healthily. Organ Orgasms is not formulaic or like other self-help books, but it will help people learn how to take care of themselves better and get them re-thinking about their purpose in life and ensure their wellbeing.
The book is written for the lay reader and includes over 150 extremely useful illustrations. Yet, it has also been cleverly crafted to meet the needs of the scholarly reader by the use of endnotes and appendices, which provide a stunning amount of scientific evidence for how the body, brain and mind work to make CBF possible.

Disillusioned: A Journey from Certainty to Faith
$3.99 – $12.99Price range: $3.99 through $12.99Disillusioned is a memoir, a spiritual how-not-to, and a revelation of hope for experiencing God and living the message of Jesus in a bold new way. In this candid and moving story, former mega-church pastor Dan Cox shares how, after a lifetime of Christianity, he watched his long-held belief systems go up in smoke. And how, like burning a field for new growth, his disillusionment allowed him to grow spiritually in ways his old faith never allowed.
Cox had erected a perfect Christian framework around his life: Overseas mission work. Pastoring a fledgling church into a 6500-member church. Building a family. But even as he seemed to have all the answers, Cox became filled with doubts about his ministry and his marriage, and deeply depressed. Facing tremendous trials and feeling a disconnect between his theology and his experience, he prayed fervently. Yet God seemed absent. Eventually, all his certainties-about marriage, prayer, the Bible, and even salvation-lay in ashes at his feet. So he had to start over again. And on that seared ground, God and his grace met him, and he began to radically reconstruct his life-this time supported by true faith.
Disillusioned is an honest exploration of what happens when the answers you’ve grown up with-and doled out to everyone else-don’t make sense anymore. Around the world, there are millions like Dan who, dissatisfied with their Christian experience, are walking away from church. This book is for those on the edges. The faint. The fallen. The desperate. The doubters. Here is a hopeful story, offering comfort and a fresh vision for a renewed and authentic life of freedom in Christ.
