    You

Working in a family print shop as I grew up led to my career, first in education and then to publishing and dramatic technology development – with R.R. Donnelley, Readers Digest, and Sothebys over 50 years. While working at Columbia University for 5 years “at the turn of the century”, I became fascinated with geothermal energy technology and have since attended conferences and visited geothermal energy sites. (http://thnktnk.net/drill.html) is a paper I wrote on the subject.
Presently I am involved in several community organizations (Library, Parks, Arts, Downtown, Bird Sanctuary) in my hometown where I moved five years ago from New York. I live there with my fiancée whom I re-met at our 50th high school reunion. We have enjoyed Europe, China, and US travels together.

    The Life We Share

In 1972, my mother left her farming village in México with six young children and one suitcase to go by bus to California. I was eight years old. This is the journey that changed my life, as portrayed in my poetry, writings, and artwork in “Art & Poetry – nested in these – Captured Moments,” published 2021. As an engineering graduate from Loyola Marymount University, my professional career began designing theme park attractions for Walt Disney Imagineering. After 10 years as an engineer, and after researching other fields in which to apply my experience, I discovered the field of Intellectual Property (IP). I hold a patent agent registration from the United States Patent and Trademark Office and a Juris Doctorate. I’ve worked in the IP field for 20 years. My journey continues as I’ve discovered the joy of writing poetry, photography, and painting. Although, I embark in these gratifying art forms during my spare time, I take each moment to the fullest until a project is complete.

Reflections III: The Magic Beyond the Pain: The Journey, My Impact, Their Impact

This book reflects life-each and every one of us in our journeys as all of us inevitably end in the same place. It is our journeys, individually and those we share time and space with, along with the many souls on four legs that define the happiness inside. It is also imperative that we find ways to help the world we live in-for those many starfish that ended on the beach, and for each of those starfish that we can throw back in the water,-well, one more life we have saved. Inevitably, it is the lives we save that actually save us-aren’t they? They fill our souls with energy with that special feeling that we mean something that we actually are all connected but to live life with purpose-well that is ultimately the most fulfilling of all important feelings. To each of you I hope you fill those moments in the simplest of ways-giving back, and pay forward to become the power and energy that will save us all.

    Chronicles of the Ancient Future

I was a successful businessman who was always looking for a new adventure to invest in to make my legacy greater. I should have known my next adventure was going beyond anything previously encountered. Despite my disturbing dream, I was not aware of what was to ensue.

At the onset, this adventure appeared to be quite lucrative. However, as the adventure progresses, in its unfoldment, it led me to some other unsettling paradigms. I found myself in other time zones and even on other planets.

Initially, the pattern of these events seemed obscure. After a few shocking revelations, I realized that there was a purpose to the pattern. The purpose was that of the Ancient Future.

How? How? How?: Jesus Can We Have Your Church Fired Up?

For the writing of this book is exciting to me, of us being able to prepare for Jesus’ return. And as the Scriptures say, to watch and pray means that Jesus really would like to have us come with Him on His return to the Father’s house in heaven.

Most do know very little about the function of a church body of believers when it comes to the proper role of an apostle, a prophet, an evangelist, a bishop/pastor, and a teacher. And as how to define the logic, as to their position; for the Scriptures are very clear, so as the church begins to fit into their proper role, the churches throughout the world will expand rapidly: for this is an exciting time for the believers to pray a blessing over the saint around the world.

To Then and Back Again: A Memoir Part One A Collection of Uh-Oh’s, No No’s and A Few OMG’S

To Then And Back Again is a memoir written in two parts. It’s a book for those who enjoy the trials and tribulations of real-life people and feel they can or would like to relate to those whom they are reading about. It’s a memoir about only those richest, most interesting details concerning my life…or so I would like to think. It was written to convey those sometimes simple, sometimes complex, but many times emotionally charged experiences I’ve had during my life. Whether these emotions were elicited by the harsh realities of adversity that I, like many, have faced and overcome, or by the personal triumphs achieved through perseverance, and at times, through sheer willpower alone is for the reader to decide. I will, however, try to express them in such a manner as to allow the readers the chance to decide for themselves. We will embark on a journey to then and back again; an odyssey that will encompass a multitude of adventures that are at times disturbing and chaotic, and at other times fascinating and humorous. These adventures will range from overcoming desperation and loneliness as a result of a hidden identity, to the anguish of a best friend and his suicide that served absolutely no purpose nor had any meaning; a suicide that gained nothing for anyone…especially himself. From an insidious monster’s theft of a child’s innocence to things that just happen; catching you unaware, then kicks you right square in your pearly whites. The journey will certainly run the gamut of human experiences and emotions, and I will share my life with the reader if they wish to take the ride. And of which I’m also certain, if I do it suitably, then they will vicariously become the reader’s adventures as well. The first part is about my life from the time I was about eight years old, when our family home was destroyed by fire to when I was just out of high school and first went out to live on my own. The second part will be about my life from when I was about twenty until I was thirty something. It will begin when my dad and I built my first home until I finally moved from my hometown to go off to medical school.

Redistribution Of Wealth In America And Beyond – The New Civil War

This book will not serve its intended purpose unless we accept that we have been planted from the same seed. If we can agree that all of us originated first from the soil and blossomed into humans. The original seed was provided by God, if you believe there is a God, otherwise this will be: so many useless words. We are told that God formed man from the soil and gave life by breathing life into him. He then made woman by taking a rib from the man and made woman. You know the story, the original First Family. Imagine if you will, a genealogy tree large enough to have every person who ever lived, was a leaf on a branch of that tree of humanity. You and I are on that tree. I believe that an honest person can see the logic so far must agree that we are all related cousins at least. In order to understand what this means, when you hear or read about someone’s tree, that has been changed do to the element in which the live, and the things that separate us, name, color, etc., upon a closer examination of the root, you will note that we come from the same root system that originated from the first seed. The above is not designed to convince you to read my first book “Blood Bath In Jasper County, Mississippi where you will meet the amazing Cruise family, with their patriarch, James (Jim) Cruise, a man born a slave, who could read, write, and count money, who while a slave, was paid by his cousin/slave owner to work as a house carpenter, you will now realize that you are reading about your cousin, and our family story. All of us have our own “close family story”, Our story, yours and mine is continuing in this book, and the final chapter will be released in January 2024, if the Lord says so.

    Agatha and Frank: New Adventures

Agatha and Frank had been on a road for the last year and a half going across the Central and lower parts of the USA. But now it was time to go find a new place to leave. Houston, TX had been their home since they had returned from the island. But it just wasn’t home anymore! They loved their kids, but after the last storm, and their house getting flooded, twice! It was time to find a place where the weather wasn’t so extreme. They both agreed Oregon would be the right place. A friend of Aggie’s (Larie) needed to sell their house, so they offered it to them for a great price. Larie had lived there for over 20 years, they wanted someone that would love it as much as they did.

During their travels they had visited and explored many places. As far as Agatha (Aggie) and Frank are concerned, traveling in their RV to see this wonderful country of ours, was the only way to go! It was fantastic waking up in the same bed every morning, and then walking out of their RV to a new place, view, and new things to explore. Never knowing what they will discover in the new area. There were always so many things to see and do during their travels. But it was time to have a place to call home. With their “New Adventures” just over the horizon.

Speedbumps in the Middle of the Sea

The author was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya. He was very mischievous, so he was sent to a boarding school in England. Since he did not participate in sports, he did all his homework (Prep, as they called it) during sports hour. As a result, he would wash dishes after evening meals, and all three Sunday meals, to earn extra money. With the extra money, he would buy candy, and records (45 RPM in those days). He would then make a recording of these songs on a cassette tape and send the tape back home to his sister. Since, in those days, Kenya was not yet up-to-date on modern technology, the songs on the charts were not quite caught up. So my sister would get songs that they had not heard on the radio yet!

From his high school, he went to University in USA (Atlanta) to study Business Administration. He could not get his rights to stay in USA, so he had to return back to Kenya. Meanwhile his parents had emigrated to England, so the author spent time with his grandparents, uncles and aunts. After a long stay in Kenya, (20 years), his sister sponsored him to come to Canada.

This book, Speedbumps in the Middle of the Sea, is all about his adventures from High school to present day. With a title like this, it promises to be hilarious. Enjoy!
