  1. Jarell Hoops

Wow! I am impressed!!! A thoughtful and engaging coming-of-age story, this book follows Pat Kavanaugh’s journey as he balances family expectations, friendship, faith, and personal ambition. The characters are relatable, and the themes of loyalty and self-discovery are handled with sincerity and heart. A quiet but rewarding read. I want to see more of his books published. Good job!!!

  2. Sabrina Walker

A heartfelt story about choices, friendship, and staying true to yourself. Pat’s journey is both realistic and inspiring, with moments that quietly resonate long after the last page.

  3. Dmtri K

Ted wrote a warm, honest story about friendship, tough choices, and learning to stay true to who you are. Pat’s journey feels real in the best way…quietly powerful, and it sticks with you long after you’ve finished. I like it

  4. Joseph Anderson

The writing is engaging, and the characters feel grounded and relatable. While the pacing is more reflective than fast-moving, the emotional depth and honesty make it a rewarding read. The themes of loyalty and self-discovery are handled with genuine care. I look forward to seeing more from this author in the future. Where in the world was this before? What a quiet gem.

  5. Dr. Willian Smith

As a doctor, I really appreciated how real and relatable this story felt. Pat’s struggle between doing what he loves and what his parents think is “practical” is something a lot of people face. It’s a reminder of how much pressure young adults can be under and how that can affect their mental and emotional well-being.

Sean’s secret adds an interesting layer to the story, too. It hints at the fact that everyone’s carrying something, and sometimes just having a good friend by your side can mean the world.

Pat’s journey through work, faith, friendship, and even questionable choices shows that life isn’t a straight path, and that’s okay. In the end, it’s about finding your own way and having people who stick with you through it. Definitely a thoughtful and heartfelt read.

  6. Anita Doyle

What an interesting read! I wonder what the author wants to do next? Is there a book signing I can attend? I would love to meet Mr. Brooks at a fair!!! I am excited!
