“One of the worst things about sin is that it is contagious. I hear people say, “I’m not hurting anybody else by my sin.” Yes, you are! You are hurting the ones that love you and there is a good chance that they will end up copying your sin.”

STOP THE WORLD!! I WANT TO GET OFF!! If you feel like this world is spinning out of control and you are stressing out about God not doing anything, then maybe you can find some comfort and hope in this book. I have tried to show that God had a plan even before creation. He chose to interact with mankind at definite times in history.
Jesus said that He had come so that we could have life and have it to the full. We cannot have that full and fruitful life if we are full of fear and anxiety. The overall lesson we can learn is that God has everything under control. It’s not that everything is falling apart—everything is falling into place, according to God’s plan.
“God’s Mighty Hands/Outstretched Arm: God’s Power and Plan for the World” is authored by Kenneth L. Sherlock, and it delves into the understanding of God’s influence and providence in the world. The title reflects on the powerful imagery of God’s hands and arms, signifying His capability to enact change and guide humanity according to His divine purpose.
The book discusses the significance of God’s power as displayed throughout history and its implications for contemporary believers. Sherlock emphasizes that God’s hands are not only a metaphorical representation of capability but also signify care and involvement in human affairs.
The work is likely intended for readers interested in Christian theology, particularly those wanting to deepen their understanding of God’s nature and role in world events. Readers seeking to explore themes of faith, divine intervention, and God’s overarching plan will find the book engaging and informative.
