Vicky Weston grew up in Africa. She has traveled extensively, by boat and motor home, gathering material for her books.

She is a Water colorist, a pen and Ink Artist, and reads extensively.

She lived in France for several years, spending winters in Spain and Portugal, and is now retired and lives in New Zealand.
