Lettie Ar-Rahmaan

Lettie Ar-Rahmaan, is a retired I/T professional from IBM, an ordained Baptist Minister, and independent business consultant. She’s the former pastor of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Newton, N. C., the former Minister of Assimilation and Women’s Ministry Advisor at First Baptist Church West in Charlotte, N. C., and a executive board member of the Wesley Community Development Corporation. Lettie holds an Associate of Science in Data Processing from Gateway Community College (formerly South Central Community College), a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in Business Administration from North Carolina Central University, a Master of Science in Information Systems from Strayer University, and a Master of Divinity from The Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University.She received a Technology All-Star Award for Women of Color in STEM, created and published two devotional/prayer journals, “Dancing with God” and “Lord Take My Ordinary Life and Mind,” for women’s ministries. Her sermon “Breaking the Silence” was published in The African American Pulpit Spring of 2007 journal. She’s trained in Transformation Church and Church Vitality through the United Methodist Church and a Connection Matter Congregation Trainer through the Prevent Child Abuse North Carolina.Lettie is a childhood sexual abuse survivor and a breast cancer thriver.
