Initially I thought that the motivating factor behind writing this book was to leave a reminder of the many discussions held and lessons taught to my children over the years. Therefore, godly champions must commit to praying continually, reading and studying the Bible consistently, worshiping Him daily, and trusting and obeying Him always. He expects us to represent Him honorably, diligently, zealously, courageously, and with great swag. That’s right, swag! I wholeheartedly believe God wants us to represent Him proudly with a colorful, spirited style. Although we encounter trials, tribulations, and setbacks, we adapt, adjust, and overcome all obstacles because of the strength and grit afforded to us by the indwelling Holy Spirit.
