Knowing Horses by Heart: A Collection of Poems Written with Appreciation for the Horses in My World
$3.99 – $11.99Price range: $3.99 through $11.99For as long as Barbara Hutson could remember, she dreamed of having a horse farm and of surrounding herself daily with these magical, mystical, and majestic creatures. Suddenly, she found herself living her lifelong dream. In Knowing Horses by Heart, she talks about the joys and challenges of owning horses. Her poems consider the life lessons she has learned-such as the value of patience and respect-while considering how worthwhile owning horses has been for her.
Like most fantasies, the reality of our fondest wishes can be a bit more than we bargained for. Owning a horse farm is not all serene days gazing at horses playing in the field or peaceful rides into the sunsets. Horses are bigger than life. With that comes events that are also tremendous in size and impact, which lends richness and color to the fabric of our life story. Fully illustrated, Knowing Horses by Heart shares through poetry some of the knowledge Barbara has accumulated through her equine encounters.
Little Girl Giggles
The gift is sweeter than that very first kiss
Seeing those looks of sheer wonder and bliss
There is nothing quite like watching the eyes
Of a child as she squeals with excited cries
As the magic of real horses fills up the space
The look of pure amazement covers her face …

Reflections III: The Magic Beyond the Pain: The Journey, My Impact, Their Impact
$3.99 – $19.99Price range: $3.99 through $19.99This book reflects life-each and every one of us in our journeys as all of us inevitably end in the same place. It is our journeys, individually and those we share time and space with, along with the many souls on four legs that define the happiness inside. It is also imperative that we find ways to help the world we live in-for those many starfish that ended on the beach, and for each of those starfish that we can throw back in the water,-well, one more life we have saved. Inevitably, it is the lives we save that actually save us-aren’t they? They fill our souls with energy with that special feeling that we mean something that we actually are all connected but to live life with purpose-well that is ultimately the most fulfilling of all important feelings. To each of you I hope you fill those moments in the simplest of ways-giving back, and pay forward to become the power and energy that will save us all.

Midge: My Life Story
$10.99 – $16.99Price range: $10.99 through $16.99My hopes for writing this story about Midge is that children with disabilities or children who have switched foster homes a lot will benefit them. It doesn’t matter what has happened to you, it is how you handle it and have the foresight to realize that it is not your fault. Your personality is what shines through. Midge went through a lot of changes and handicaps, but her personality shined through, and no one knew. What people saw was a sweet little dog.
How she handled the many transitions that she went through was amazing.

The City Dog And The Country Dog
$3.99 – $9.99Price range: $3.99 through $9.99“In the beginning, God created…” That is how it all began. In his infinite wisdom, God created animals before humans. Why? Could it be that he needed the animals to explain creation to us? Or rather to explain the Creator to us? Could it be that God knew that our intellects would try too hard to understand something that is very simple? In The City Dog and the Country Dog, the man learns that what all of creation is yearning for freedom–freedom to enjoy his Creator and all the benefits of creation. There is just one big problem: we are held captive by our cruel masters. They keep us bound up, and they lie to us about who we are and what God thinks of us.
Boone is an Australian Blue Heeler whose owner is a cruel master. He is always trying to escape to get his needs met. After being taken by animal services for neglect and abuse, Boone is adopted by a good master. His new master must endure the bad habits and behaviors of Bonne learned under the cruet master, even being badly bit. When his training is complete, Boone is a new dog and readily submits to his master. He never leaves his master’s side. By watching Boone’s transformation, his master learns God’s plan for him and all of creation– to be set free to experience the love of their Creator, to return that love, and to receive their inheritance.

The Call From Within
$3.99 – $17.99Price range: $3.99 through $17.99The plight of animals has been neglected for too long. This fact, simply obvious, and according to the many devoted witnesses to animal cruelty, inspires the desire for an existence of peace, having found some answers through time with people who care, bringing to life the Laws to assist.
Concern for our “pets”, and the problem of the “Crisis of Cruelty” is engaging all of us to help animals now exclaiming their woes for those who can hear such pain; and this time it is relevant to all people who have animal companions and/or concern for wildlife. And “Deborah” (The prophetess) is one who faces such ethical issues, and guides animal choices that exist precisely on the divide between species and the problem of The Animal that she studies.
Eager to see it unfold here through story, seeking the tools we need to succeed, the pen being one such implement, “Deborah” is the person who brings it all to bear, on life and love we share our gifts, precise and sure to find that place that we always seek, in peaceful gestures that exist within us.
