Book of Hard Facts
Price range: $3.99 through $17.99I was sitting in a waiting room and looked for something to read. There were a couple of children’s books and that was it. I thumbed through them – same books sixty years ago.
I thought I needed to do a children’s book. – A parent could interact with. So, I came up with “Hard Facts.”
It’s compiled of things that mom and dad would tell you not to do, and like most children, it went in one ear and out the other. It was never retained in the brain. So, when your mom and dad weren’t around, you did it.
I talked to the ER nurses, and they gave me actual situations that happened over the years by children that did not listen.
I found an artist and we came up with “Diputs” and reacted out each possible rule ending in possible death.
I showed the book to teachers, police, doctors, and firefighters and got great reviews. Around 80% of “mothers” said it was too graphic for their children.
I went back to the drawing board and tamed it down. Now, about 50% of mothers said to tame it down more. So, it went back to the artist one more time and we decided that it was enough.
It’s not a perfect world and you can’t wrap your children in bubble wrap. Nobody can watch their children 24-7. Kids will be kids, but with “Hard Facts,” you can go page by page with your child and this time it won’t go in one ear and out the other.

Empire of Fairy Tales

I came to this country 35 years ago from a communist country Hungary,
with my son who always asked me for new fairy tales. Many years are
gone, and I enjoy my time writing books in my pension years.
I was always involved with people and I learned a lot from them as a tour
guide, as an attorney, a mental health advisor, and a poker dealer.
Many nice stories made my days better, and I hope I can provide the
same adventure for you with my fairytales.

Parchita
Price range: $3.99 through $14.99When I was young, my mom and dad did their best to provide for our family. Money was scarce. Neighbors and our church would sometimes give us clothing. I remember finding a pair of pants in one of the boxes which fit me perfectly. However, I grew taller and my pants unfortunately didn’t. My mom would either sew patches to cover up holes from overuse and she would also sew fabric to the bottom of each pant leg to make them longer. The word for patches in Spanish is parches. Parchita is what inspired me to write this book. I truly hope you enjoy my story.

The Love Flower
Price range: $3.99 through $13.99The story begins in Ireland. There was a mighty, evil king named Giardino, who ruled everyone by cracking a whip. He lived in a castle surrounded by a moat. A fire breathing dragon operated the long drawbridge. The king’s pride and joy were his garden, which was visited by people from all over the country. One day another king came to visit and to admire the beautiful flowers. He told King Giardino that he did not have the most beautiful flowers. There was a lady who grew an enchanting flower in her garden which she called “The Love Flower”. King Giardino sent his knights to find this “Love Flower.” They brought it back and the king had it planted in his garden. He was so impressed with the flower’s amazing colors. However, the next morning, when he went to admire his “Love Flower”, he found all of its petals on the ground. The king viewed this as a curse and immediately went with his knights to find the lady who was growing these “Love Flowers”. They couldn’t even find her house, let alone the lady. When they returned to the castle, he found his dragon so sick he could not even breathe fire. He was so upset, he retired to his chamber. Later that night, an angel appeared to him and said, “Look at all your evil ways and realize all the suffering you have caused.” That visit from the angel changed King Giardino forever…
