A Fish Called Bad Eyes : Finding Marsha’s Glasses
$3.99 – $11.99Our bespectacled fish reveals his curiosity and caution as he befriends both humans and ocean dwellers beneath the water’s surface. Ultimately, he brings together a community of Pacific Coast reef inhabitants to help save their home. For many of the fish swimming in the Pacific reefs, a boat on the water’s surface signals “terror in the sky.” But when a young girl named Marsha loses her glasses over the side of one of these “floating islands,” they serendipitously land on the face of a speedy little “Manini” fish known as “Bad Eyes.” In a gesture of friendship, Marsha leaves her new finned acquaintance this miraculous gift . From there, the detailed characters and action draw interest while his questioning dialogue weaves in an educational component that relays information about creature characteristics, habits, and the ocean’s decline in this a magical and creative foray into the ocean realm of a myopic fish. Even a big-eyed, noodle-legged octopus brings a teachable moment, commenting that “beauty comes from what I can do, not how I look.” Character interactions are brought full circle with Marsha’s return in the final chapter, and the story ends on a positive note, teasing more adventures with Bad Eyes and Marsha to come.

A Very Special Christmas
$3.99 – $8.99It was a cold, dark Christmas Eve night, which is always the most magical night of the year, but it was not so for a small little puppy that was bullied by her much older and bigger brothers and sisters. The little caramel-colored puppy felt that she was not loved, and no one would ever miss her if she ran away, and that is what she decided to do. As she shivered in the cold, scary woods, something very magical happened. With the jingling of sleigh bells, the little pup was frightened but not for long. She was rescued by a kind man in a sleigh pulled by beautiful reindeer. Santa Claus scooped the pup up from the snow, saving the puppy from any more danger. Santa Claus took the little pup on the most magical adventure of her life. And it had indeed turned into a very special Christmas after all.

BETTY, IT’S SHOWTIME!!
$3.99 – $12.99Who is Betty?
Betty Marie Stone is an enthusiastic overweight young singer with the desire to one day – see her name in lights. Although she was always complimented as a child because her voice was strong and adult like in church, No one ever said anything to her regarding her looks, smarts, or personality. For some reason, they only focused on her voice. The elder women would say, “Chile you got a gift from God just like your mother,” or they would say, “If you don’t do anything else, you ought to sing.” Raised by a strong, Southern Baptist Grandmother in the middle
of one of the largest Northern Cities was a struggle all in itself. The city lights called to her in a way much different than her counterparts because they had never experienced the darkness of the south. Betty remembered seeing miles and miles of darkness when she was a child. Although they moved to Michigan when she was twelve, she still remembered the dark roads and fields. For some reason, she always felt that the lights made her feel safe and looked after. She thought as long as there were lights, she would never feel the sadness of darkness, nor would she feel alone. Those long dark southern roads seem to escalate the long suffering she endured being alone and forced to care for her mother when she needed care and attention herself.
After years had passed and the city started to quiet down a bit, Betty really started to focus on her future. She was sure that singing would make her happy, but unsure if her desired path was even possible. The pains she endured while trying to pursue her dream as a NON-Gospel singer begins almost immediately. Southern gospel was the ONLY music permitted in Grandma’s house. Grandma seemed to only care about her church and her relationship with her Bible. After the death of her Mother; Betty thought she’d never sing again. Somehow, after those feelings died a bit, the fire and desire to perform still burned brightly in her soul.
Now that she is in her early twenties, she reflects on her feelings as a child, and it still saddens her to admit that she really did feel alone even in the lights. Betty now feels that God’s love is enough to help her through any rough patch. After all the ups and downs she endured, Betty finally found someone worth singing for, herself. NOW nothing can stop her, not even fear or loneliness.
Now it’s time to get the game face on. Betty, It’s Showtime.

Carrie and the Little Rose
$3.99 – $12.99With my first children’s book, Little Children We Are, published, this is my second children’s book inspired by a valentine date with a college girlfriend after going back to my dorm room. Originally, the title was The Little Rose. I later rented from a young couple born to them a little girl named Carrie Rose who would call me Uncle Lenny. I decided to add a little girl’s name, Carrie, and the story then became a story of Carrie having her mother tell her the story of The Little Rose. Hence, the title Carrie and the Little Rose.
I sat on the manuscript for years, thinking that it may be just a writing for children until I saw artwork. After seeing artwork from the illustrator, Beth Clingan, who her and her now husband, Mark, were college best friends to me. I decided to commission her to illustrate as a book in colored pencil to which she proved it excellently.
Although this book is about a little girl and a rose, it is for girls and boys as the moral of the book is to be the best person you were purposed to be, even if everyone doesn’t seem to notice.

Empire of Fairy Tales
$3.99 – $17.25Christmas is coming soon. I want to surprise the children with my
fairytales, that is my gift for the holidays.
I came to this country 35 years ago from a communist country Hungary,
with my son who always asked me for new fairy tales. Many years are
gone, and I enjoy my time writing books in my pension years.
I was always involved with people and I learned a lot from them as a tour
guide, as an attorney, a mental health advisor, and a poker dealer.
Many nice stories made my days better, and I hope I can provide the
same adventure for you with my fairytales.
Happy reading, and happy holidays.
