A war over water: Ethiopia plans to divert 80% of the Nile River from Egypt for agricultural purposes. Egypt is forced to ally with Libya, and together they attack Ethiopia, Sudan and Chad until American Special Forces drive them back while Libya turns to chemical weapons. The United States is forced to use nuclear devices in-order to prevent a chemical attack in the region.
