A Toy Black Soldiers Story
Price range: $3.99 through $8.99The Author grew up in a two-parent home on the northside of Chicago in an area known as Cabrini Green Projects. His parents gave birth to 10 children. Four brothers and five sisters. Willis is the oldest child.
My father served in Manila Philippines under General Wainright. He distinguished himself on rescue missions of American prisoners and special assignments during the ongoing battles against the Japanese in the Philippine Island 3 years hand to hand combat with the Japanese. He returned home and married the author’s mother who was an elementary school teacher and a missionary. He was a military police and after the war in 1959, became a Chicago Policeman. He was an American hero.
The author was unable to afford college and decided to volunteer for military service with plans to enter college upon completion of military obligations. This landed him in the middle of the Vietnam Era War at a place called Phan Rang Vietnam from 1968-1969 where he served as a medical corpsman.

Estella was lucky; she got some opportunity to go to the United States of America. It was not easy for a mother who had children to leave them behind. But God is our Shepherd we shall not want. God has taken care of Estella’s children. Estella clang to the Old rugged cross. When she left home she had no idea how she was going to survive. But she trusted in God who created her. Estella was hosted, she ate, and she was dressed. She managed to get a job which enabled her to send money to her children for school fees and food. God took care of the four kids. They paid school fees and were able to get their education. Through it all Estella never left God.

His lifelong fight against poverty, prejudice, and discrimination was courageous, persistent, and always optimistic. As the leader of his gypsy village, he did his best for the future positive changes, he acted like a good father to his people.
I wrote this book in his best memory for everybody who knew him, and who would like to know him better.

humor, a little romance and history. The characters are fictional, the events happened in the past so I guess you could say it’s semi-fictional. Sort of like

in the construction of Hoover Dam during the Great Depression.
