Construction Engineering and Inspection: What You Learn in The Field

    Price range: $3.99 through $9.99

This book serves as a training tool that teaches how to write helpful daily reports. The content of this work is knowledge acquired outside the classroom.

The information included is valuable because it informs about what is expected of inspection teams when writing daily construction reports. The content is relevant because it describes the information that construction, engineering, and inspection managers need to bring the project to its successful completion.

Knowing how to write useful daily reports is vital to provide inspection services that meet customer expectations.

The central theme of this volume is to properly document the daily activities and critical events of the construction site. Nevertheless, it also reflects on issues that answer the question of whether contractors and inspectors are enemies.

Experts use the methodology shown when supervising highway construction, but users can apply it to other types of infrastructure work.

Consultants will benefit significantly from these pages because their employees will know a successful way to anticipate emerging risks consistently and, therefore, be more effective in delivering good quality projects.

The book is essential for new inspectors or young engineers seeking guidance on how to report on road construction work. This book shortens their learning curve and helps them get the recognition they will need to advance their careers.

Ronnie Fletcher’s poetry contains spiritual and heartfelt words that will lift your spirit and cause you to reflect.  His books appeal to readers because every page is filled with thoughts that we experience every day.  Some experiences are dearly seen; while some are only seen when they are brought to one’s attention.  These books also remind readers that there is a higher power.

Ronnie Fletcher’s passion is to inspire others to realize how blessed we all are by waking up every morning.  His mission is to write poems that encourage us to communicate with each other; poems that will remind us to give thanks to the One who gives us our daily blessings.

    Vice and Virtue

    Price range: $3.99 through $9.99

I was in the midst of a long stroll and happened upon it one evening. A crusty blue neon light depicted a bottle of vodka, hanging crookedly in the window. I was wet and dreary, and miserably cold, so I stepped inside… One of the wonderful things about life is the mystery of opening a new door and having only the foggiest idea about what lies on the other side. When Leonid moves across the city into a grimy, seedy neighborhood, he is met with unfamiliar and uncomfortable surroundings. As he adopts a new pattern of living, he discovers – in sometimes humorous ways – that wisdom often comes from the unlikeliest of places. And so does love.

    Why Spiders Eat Flies

    Price range: $3.99 through $9.99

Why Spiders Eat Flies is a pourquoi tale. A pourquoi tale answers a question. This poem gives us the answer as the friendship between a spider and fly develops. Sultan, whose name means ruler, and Amari, whose name means builder, both live in the jungle. They spend lots of time together, yet a particular time in Amari’s life takes his focus off the friendship. The friendship is tested, and the outcome surprises both of them. As the poem develops, we see times of spending time together, having fun, becoming impatient, and dealing with disappointment. Ultimately, the question is answered, and friends learn that each personality should be respected.
