The Mark of Cain
$3.99 – $9.99Price range: $3.99 through $9.99The Mark of Cain is the true story of Isaiah Baity, Jr., a young black man growing up in the South. After hearing a Klansman speak to an enthusiastic audience on a talk show, Isaiah is left pondering the implications of the Mark of Cain.
In his struggle to come to terms with racial prejudice with biblical “sources,” he investigates the view that the Mark of Cain is a curse inherited by the blacks, branding them as outcasts who must pay for Cain’s sin. This has a great impact on Isaiah and his family as he grows up in the South, a victim of racism and hatred. For years he believes that they suffer because they are cursed, but then as he matures, a caring friend helps him to realize that there is no curse. . . only senseless prejudice. After this spiritual awakening, Isaiah devotes his life to helping those less fortunate and to bringing people together.
Isaiah learns that though he has gone through many hard years, it is serving God that counts in the end, and that there is nothing like sitting at God’s feet. The Mark of Cain tells a story that is a testament to the power of God’s love to sustain us despite man’s mistaken hatred and fear.

The Max Faraday Chronicles
$14.99Who am I and why should you read my story? My name is Max Faraday. Nobody is going to believe me, but here I am putting it all down on paper. I am a man of two time periods. Forgive me, this sci-fi stuff is new to me.
A week or more ago, in July 2002, I came home for my 1982 high school class reunion. I was staying with my friend Jamie Scott and his family. On the way home from the reunion, we picked up his kids at the babysitter. Their little girl comes out and bounces a ball that tumbles out of her hands into the street.
Just as we arrived, a car speeds up and my instincts take over. I pick her up and get her out of the way, but I was then hit by the speeding car! Stunned, I wake up in September 1978! I am a thirty-eight-year-old man in a fourteen-year-old’s body! I can’t tell anyone, or they would lock me up, thinking I’m crazy! I know I would.
So here I am in the eighth grade all over again. When I went to bed in 1978, I woke up in a coma in 2002, wondering about the driver who ran me over.

The Men of Genesis
$3.99 – $18.99Price range: $3.99 through $18.99With so much going on in today’s world, there is no longer greater time than now for preteens and young adults to learn, perhaps for the first time or maybe just to be reminded of, the stories that graced the pages of the book of Genesis. The Men of Genesis brings the young reader into the lives of the men whose faith in the Lord sustained them through various, some unimaginable, hardships. these were men who believed in God, desired to obey His commands, sacrificed much but did so for His glory, not for the satisfaction of or acceptance by their fellow humans. Much can be learned from them.
The Men of Genesis was written for young readers to get acquainted with God’s handiwork in the first six days of earth’s creation. They will read about God’s blessings bestowed on a man named Noah who believed in and obeyed God. And it was that-his faith-that saved him and his family. Following Noah are the stories of Abraham and God’s covenant with him, Abraham’s son Isaac and his wife Rebecca and their struggles with favoritism, the difference that went on between brothers Jacob and Esau, and the beautiful story of Joseph who successfully overcame the betrayal of his brothers nearly two thousand years before the birth of Jesus Christ who would also victoriously overcome the betrayal of His own people.
As the reader turns the pages, he or she will be reminded of God’s immense love for His people-His desire to have a relationship with those who truly seek Him, yesterday and today.
The Men of Genesis is a book that details the strength and perseverance of our ancestors and provides the first glimpse of a truly loving God.

The Myth Of Being
