On the Way
$3.99 – $27.99Price range: $3.99 through $27.99When William (Dub) Brooks and George Sayre first met, they soon realized they shared a mutual love for Ireland’s northwest coast. One had a passion for writing verse. The other had a love of photography. They decided to spend a month together in Ireland viewing with their separate lenses and combining their views in this book. There were four driving mechanisms.
Most of us dream of taking a “time out” to go on a journey. Virgil and Dante come to mind.
The two authors have a yearning to see Ireland again but in a differing light. It would cover thirty-three days of grand effort and joyous exploration.
That prism being also enhanced by the frame of raw winter. Who knew a Nor’easter would blow through the island and captivate and intrigue the people in the grip of HY’s unique brand of cold? It certainly added flavor and character to the sojourn.
The basis of our journey was threefold.
One was to capture the powerful hues and chromas of Ireland. No other land hosts such verdancy.
The second was to trace the various and sundry foot paths of W. B. Yates, writer after the Irish manner, romantic and modernist, dramatist, poet, and passionate believer who proclaimed Ireland’s wondrous brand of seeing and expression.
Dromahair (Lough Gill), Drumcliff, and Sligo being our northwestern home base.
Lastly we wanted to follow and appreciate the establishments and creative works of St. Cohlumncille, artist and author of Celtic Christian communities and hand-drawn books from the sixth century CE.
We hope that our journey inspires your own freeing journey of the heart that allows each of us to realize and to expand our inner horizons and to liberate our souls’ deep desire to see. -

A Trip to the Moon
$3.99 – $30.99Price range: $3.99 through $30.99A Trip to the Moon is the story of the Apollo 11 moon mission described through an interesting story of animals. In the story, a rabbit, a crow and a fish, with a wise old owl travel to the Moon and learn all the scientific facts about the moon through their exciting fun-filled adventures. From my experience as a mother and teacher, I found most children avoid reading pure science books on their own because they appear monotonous to them. Children love stories. So, I have combined science with an interesting story of the animals so that the children will enjoy reading the story and simultaneously learn science.

The Church in the Last Days
$3.99 – $27.99Price range: $3.99 through $27.99Above all, the writer believes that The Church in the Last Days addresses the main sources of doctrinal confusion, clearing the air and exposing the contradictions to which many Christians still cling regarding crucial end time prophecies. First, the writer has received direct revelation from God’s Spirit which has led to the solution of these problems. Second, he has also compared many other salient scriptures which have apparently been ignored, thereby clarifying pertinent contextual details regarding the relative timing of end times events. Also, this book is a “primer for victory” for all those who believe the truth of the complete Gospel of Christ. One cannot miss the fact that the New Testament is full of glowing examples of what believers can do just by taking Jesus’s Word at face value. Solomon wrote that “the righteous are as bold as a lion.” Not only that, the writer believes that the New Covenant aptly sketched out simply in ”the Lord’s Prayer,” is a manifesto for a spiritual revolution that we can implement today and finally, in these “last days,” bring about a worldwide revival and the fulfillment of the great commission.

A Chronicle of the Roman Twilight: A Novel
$3.99 – $33.99Price range: $3.99 through $33.99The story begins in A.D. 364 when the author of this memoir, Marcus Cedranus, is born into a middle class landowner’s family in western Britain. While his material prospects are promising, his deteriorating relationship with his parents causes him to leave home for the continent. In Gaul he becomes a teamster for a freight hauling company, meets an older woman who will eventually play a major role in his life and is drafted into the Roman army in 382.
He is assigned to Legion XXII in Mainz and in 383 is temporarily transferred to Belgrade on the Danube. A revolt in the west makes this transfer permanent. He participates in several military campaigns and takes part in a triumph in Constantinople in 386. In 388 his regiment takes part in the eastern offensive against the revolt in the west that has by now spread to Italy. With the revolt suppressed, he is assigned to a new imperial guard regiment for the restored western emperor, Valentinian II. During another transfer to the east Marcus suffers a terrible personal tragedy from which it is impossible to recover. Another civil war breaks out in the west and is suppressed with terrible casualties.
Marcus is appointed tribune and made a member of the personal staff of Stilicho, the new generalissimo of the west. Further military adventures take place in Greece, Britain and Italy. A massive barbarian invasion of the west on December 31, 406 triggers political instability leading to revolts in both Britain and Italy. This inevitably leads to the sack of Rome by Alaric and his Visigoths in 410.

The Life We Share
$3.99 – $19.99Price range: $3.99 through $19.99In 1972, my mother left her farming village in México with six young children and one suitcase to go by bus to California. I was eight years old. This is the journey that changed my life, as portrayed in my poetry, writings, and artwork in “Art & Poetry – nested in these – Captured Moments,” published 2021. As an engineering graduate from Loyola Marymount University, my professional career began designing theme park attractions for Walt Disney Imagineering. After 10 years as an engineer, and after researching other fields in which to apply my experience, I discovered the field of Intellectual Property (IP). I hold a patent agent registration from the United States Patent and Trademark Office and a Juris Doctorate. I’ve worked in the IP field for 20 years. My journey continues as I’ve discovered the joy of writing poetry, photography, and painting. Although, I embark in these gratifying art forms during my spare time, I take each moment to the fullest until a project is complete.

Facts and Interpretation: A Prayer Manual for Prayer Warriors
$3.99 – $10.99Price range: $3.99 through $10.99Some people believe that there is a difference (albeit inconsiderable) between a Christian and a believer. They argue that a Christian has not completely understood the valid, valuable, and invaluable role that the Holy Spirit plays in serving Christ. They aver that a believer, on the other hand, is a Christian who has learned and developed a conviction born from experience that, without a daily contact and yielding to the Holy Spirit, could not be true to God, let alone communicate with Him.
The question is, are you willing, hungry, and determined to communicate with God on behalf of lost souls in ways that would enrich your participation and discipline your understanding about the great commission as a prayer warrior?
Prayer warriors are believers who have made a conscious effort to intercede for lost souls and to reach the world for Christ. They believe and have this inveterate conviction that prayer undergirds witnessing, and witnessing cultivates a culture of absolute and undeviating dependence on the Holy Spirit. They also believe that the church exists to witness for Christ.
This book is about the Holy Spirit and His influence on all aspects of prayer. That is why any church qua church that does not have a group of dedicated men and women whose avowed mission is to pray for souls (prayer warriors) is making itself irrelevant in preparing for the second return of Christ.
As you read, whether it is the chapter on prayer and the knowledge of God, prayer and the will of God, prayer and praise, prayer and faith, prayer and witnessing, prayer and the sovereignty of God, or secret prayer, you will discover, as I did, that the Holy Spirit stands ready to transform your own life because “He that watereth shall himself be watered” is an inflexible Biblical principle.
My hope is that the Holy Spirit will not only fight for His outcomes as you read and apply these principles in your own life but also leaven your conviction. -

A Hero’s Life
$3.99 – $12.99Price range: $3.99 through $12.99The story of a war hero who is faced with a choice between what he believes is moral on the one hand, and his job, his family and the security of his country on the other.
Steve Pritchard was a World War II fighter pilot hero who returned from England in 1945 to his home in Los Angeles. He was a double ace with twelve downed Messerschmitt ME-109’s to his credit. Steve had married his high school sweetheart, the prettiest girl in town, went to work at Western Aircraft Company, the largest aircraft company in Southern California and moved into a new home with swimming pool on the Palos Verdes peninsula. Steve and Ellen quickly had three children and settled down to a comfortable post-war life.
He earned a master’s degree in aeronautical engineering at UCLA night school and became his company’s chief troubleshooter. The company’s design team listened to his suggestions and respected his opinion. All was going well when he was assigned a special mission by the company president to investigate multiple crashes of the company’s new, supersonic fighter jet. It would be a simple task, one that he was sure he could solve in a few days.
But those few days turned into months of futile probing, political infighting, Air Force interference, threats on his life and lack of support from his company’s management as well as from his family. Using his experience in airplane design and applying his flying skills, could he finally identify the cause of the crashes? If he identifies the problem, should he reveal the faulty design and lose his job, his home, and his family, or cover up the problem, get the promotion for which he had been working, and continue to live a comfortable life? A man who had been hailed a hero just a few years before in World War II was now to find out what it really meant to lead a hero’s life.

The New Tower of Babel
$3.99 – $11.99Price range: $3.99 through $11.99Do we really believe in God? What difference does it make if God exists or does not exist? Are we better off with God or without God? Are we made in God’s image or is it God who is made in our image? Is God our creator or are we the creators of God the way we create other gods? Does God tell us from on high what to do or do we go on building higher and higher towers and defy the God of heavens? Does God have rights? Do we have rights? Are these and those rights the same, different, or incompatible?
Obviously, it is not easy to fi nd adequate answers to such fundamental and life or death questions. In this book, philosopher Jean Maalouf helps us to find our way around. With “[his] gift for writing about the most sublime truths in the most simple language,” as his style was once described, he masterly walks us through the eras of Enlightenment, modernism, post-modernism, existentialism, and the deconstruction and cancel culture projections. With clarity, lucidity, and boldness, he explains how we are building the new tower of Babel, what the meaning of it is, and what the next step in our human journey could be.

The Coming
$3.99 – $12.99Price range: $3.99 through $12.99It had been a long day, and the drive home proved to be even longer as freezing rain and subsequent black ice quickly turned into wet, heavy snow. Snow on black ice is treacherous, but going slowly, I made progress. As I approached my turn, I looked across the valley; a car spinning out of control crashed into the guardrail and stopped! Flames flickered from under the car as it hung precariously over the cliff.
Throwing caution to the wind, I raced up the hill, slid to a stop, jumped out of my truck, and as I ran to the woman standing there, another woman was slumped over the wheel, eyes open but not moving, and both of them, pregnant! Immediately, I knew them, Mareilene and Dareilene, twins from high school. As I grabbed the door handle, Mareilene yanked me back, looked at me, almost insanely, with blood dripping down her face, screamed,
“Dareilene and baby are dead, and ‘He’ doesn’t know that she was traveling with me. Damn it, Joe, help me! I need to push the car off the cliff and let it explode with them in it.”
I yelled,
“What the fuck! You can’t do that!”
Mareilene, scared to death, yelled,
“He’s coming, Joe, and the only way we live is to let him think it’s me and my baby that are dead at the bottom of this cliff. Damn it, Joe, decide! Both my baby and I live, or we all will die! Dareilene and her baby are dead, and Joe, I now know that God sent you here to save me and my baby!”
Her eyes told me the truth, and then, with one shove, the car with Dareilene and her unborn baby plunged off the cliff and exploded in flames. We climbed into my truck, and as I hit the gas, Mareilene, rapidly going into shock, cried,
“Drive like the Devil is on your heels, Joe because He is!”
The Coming . . . God and man, versus the Devil and his minions.

What Kind of House Are You?
$3.99 – $9.99Price range: $3.99 through $9.99In the Bible, it presents the picture of God’s love, judgement, mercy, and grace, and when we are faced with that type of perfection, we ask the question how. In John 15:4, Jesus says, “Abide in me and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me.” I asked the question how–one of many questions asked through this walk with the Lord–and the pages of this book is the reply to the question the Lord asked through the Holy Spirit.
This book is about a conversation that was had between Calvin with God through the Holy Spirit. In everyone there is a need to know a higher being, to know the purpose for being and how to obtain it. During one of many periods of contemplating the Lord entered in and began to discuss, His purpose for us and how He made a home for us so that He could have fellowship with us. He then asks the question of How would you have done it, {to make a home for him}, so this book is the answer to God’s question.
This book was written for those of us who are always seeking to know who God is, to what purpose He created us for and how are we qualified to do the work. It is my hope that the reader of this book who have this hole in their lives that cannot be filled will come to the understanding that God’s Love will fill it, if they seek Him with a sincere heart He will come in and have fellowship with them. This book is not for those who have learned the importance of the cross but for those who are trying to find their way to the cross. -

Small Dreams Have No Magic: The Key to Success
$3.99 – $24.99Price range: $3.99 through $24.99What would you do if you found a little black book that revealed the true secrets of success? How would you react to the innocuous yet mysterious phrases, brimming with hidden meanings, which awaited you the first day? Naturally your aroused curiosity would drive you to read another phrase the next day, and the cycle would go on.
In Small Dreams have no Magic (The Key to Success), author Roger F. Johnsrud gives us Jonathan, a young stable worker, who finds, ” The Key to Success”, a book which seems to hold the magical power to bring him the success he so very many desires. Jonathan lives in a time long ago when kingdom-based societies flourished, and selfless goodwill abounds in daily life.
By chance he meets Heather, a young woman who holds the promises to a new life in the form of a homemade secret formula. Jonathan risks his future by leaving his job to run a business with Heather and his friends.
Along the way, Jonathan acquires the respect of noblemen and the generous assistance of local businessmen, gathering new friends and assistance while looking to build the business and doing his best to understand the magic within the book.
Small Dreams Have No Magic is invigorating and rewarding, while at the same time educational and spiritually uplifting. The author creates his characters and story line in such a way as to teach us very important moral directives about avoiding the negative temptations of life, helping those that try to help themselves, and never letting determination slip away in the fear that our dreams won’t come true.
