Global Warming: All You Need To Know
Price range: $3.99 through $17.99This is the third book Wilfred Candler has self-published on the problem of Global Warming and the first on the associated issues of our running out of Non-Renewable Natural Resources. These problems will lead us back to the lifestyle we enjoyed before 1750, with or without electricity. As discussed in his book, Wilfred argues that although there is popular agitation to reduce the use of fossil fuels, there is no widespread awareness of the severity of the crisis. In 1750 (and before), the world supported less than a billion people (much less in previous centuries), with horse-drawn transport, little international trade, and no electricity.
People are still promoting a switch to wind and solar electricity generation, seemingly unaware that this only provides intermittent power (think a dark, windless night) when cheaper, permanent, and continuous molten salt nuclear power is available.
Although this book does not have suggestions for how we are to go from eight to one billion people, it does make the case that this is a problem that needs to be addressed.

Global Warming: The Problem
Price range: $3.99 through $17.99In 2007 Wilfred Candler wrote and self-published “Global Warming: The Answer” It advocated a tax of $250 per ton of coal. Unfortunately, it was not widely read. Now (2021), he wants to share his concern that the problems of Climate Change are vastly more multi-dimensional than we had any idea of 14 years ago. It is no longer a simple problem of using fossil fuels. Still, as Christopher Clugston has pointed out, we are rapidly exhausting the world’s supply of a wide range of non-renewable natural resources.
Moreover, fossil fuel companies are actively promoting the continued use of fossil fuels and even supporting environmental groups providing their objection to fossil fuels extends to nuclear. Meanwhile, the world population is almost eight times the level before our use of non-renewable resources, and per capita consumption is a thousand times what it was in 1750.

Sally’s Home of Championship Horse’s
Price range: $3.99 through $17.99This story is about a pony who refused to give up despite his little size. His owner told him she didn’t want him just because he was small, he left and continued on his adventure until he met someone who would believe in him. Similarly, to the book’s author. She had always wanted to write a book, but several people doubted her, so she named the pony Determination. He will never give up, and neither will the author.

Book of Hard Facts
Price range: $3.99 through $17.99I was sitting in a waiting room and looked for something to read. There were a couple of children’s books and that was it. I thumbed through them – same books sixty years ago.
I thought I needed to do a children’s book. – A parent could interact with. So, I came up with “Hard Facts.”
It’s compiled of things that mom and dad would tell you not to do, and like most children, it went in one ear and out the other. It was never retained in the brain. So, when your mom and dad weren’t around, you did it.
I talked to the ER nurses, and they gave me actual situations that happened over the years by children that did not listen.
I found an artist and we came up with “Diputs” and reacted out each possible rule ending in possible death.
I showed the book to teachers, police, doctors, and firefighters and got great reviews. Around 80% of “mothers” said it was too graphic for their children.
I went back to the drawing board and tamed it down. Now, about 50% of mothers said to tame it down more. So, it went back to the artist one more time and we decided that it was enough.
It’s not a perfect world and you can’t wrap your children in bubble wrap. Nobody can watch their children 24-7. Kids will be kids, but with “Hard Facts,” you can go page by page with your child and this time it won’t go in one ear and out the other.

St. Thomas Church

They face many of the same challenges that we all do to become the people God has called them and us to become. St. Thomas Chruch is both fiction and non-fiction. Because the people and many of the the places in this book are completely made-up but the message of these parables apply to all of us at one or another.
This Novel can best be called a pre-church growth book. It does not offer strategies to grow your church but is meant to be used as a mirror in personal devotions and as a small group study to ask where am I or we in relationship to where we ought to be. This book does not promote anything goes mentality but instead promotes being God’s hands, feet and mouth to the world outside our doors not just on Sunday but every second of every day, of every moment.
This book does this by telling several short stories and then asking questions that are meant to promote discussion and hopefully action (and if needed, change). Now go forth and change your world.

Three Days After
Price range: $3.99 through $17.99It was never the intention of the author for this novel to be perceived to be anything more than a fictitious representation of Scriptural prophecy in a modern-day setting. Since prophetical interpretations vary greatly, arguments could be made that the storyline incorporates inaccurate details regarding the Antichrist and end times. I will not debate this point. With that said, it was the intention of the author to present a theoretically feasible and plausible scenario that incorporates the technological capabilities of today’s society. And, to demonstrate how those capabilities could be used to promote the interests of a person or group at the expense of humanity. That is why all the events were written with a critical eye toward whether they were realistically achievable within man’s limited capabilities. Eric Dent, the oil consortium, Sheik Omani and Sylvan had similar, albeit not identical, goals, and all were willing to sacrifice humanity to achieve those goals within those constraints. When the Antichrist comes, he will have at minimum paranormal and possibly supernatural capabilities. The restrictions that were placed on the characters in this novel will not be placed on him. Prophecy is clear that he will be able to rally the world, en masse, around his person and his initiatives. It is your choice whether you are prepared.
