“The Unfortunate Destiny of Our Planet… and Us” by Lennart Wingardh is among the books displayed by Author Reputation Press during the 76th Frankfurt Book Fair in Frankfurt, Germany, on October 16-20, 2024.
The 76th Frankfurter Buchmesse (16–20 October 2024) puts a spotlight on current topics in the world of international publishing and on today’s socio-political issues. At the same time, it is expanding the venues that allow readers and authors to interact, with an emphasis this year on the growing desire younger readers have to engage with literature. The book fair’s opening ceremony took place on 15 October 2024 under the motto “FBM24 is Read!ng—Read. Reflect. Relate.”
Frankfurter Buchmesse is one of the world’s most important stages for current debates on international and socio-political events. In Frankfurt, we bring together the people whose business is ideas, open a constructive dialogue on pressing issues, and meet on equal footing with those who have different views.
Frankfurter Buchmesse strives to be the key business event for our customers, providing them with all the components they need to succeed. We achieve this by informing them about important trends and topics, enabling their contact with important players in the respective markets, and, above all, helping them pave the way to innovative business models in the book and media industry. All year round. On an international scale.
We see the book fair as a platform to share our passion for good stories and to experience creativity that engages all the senses. It’s where the fans and friends of renowned authors can meet and enjoy close encounters with their idols. At the heart of it, Frankfurter Buchmesse is a crossroads where people and culture meet. Frankfurter Buchmesse stands for respect, diversity, and tolerance. We celebrate our wide range of different participants, whom we engage with at eye level in open dialogue.
This year, Frankfurter Buchmesse is once again demonstrating its indispensability as a venue for professional exchange in the global book industry, thanks to its fully booked Literary Agents & Scouts Centre (LitAg), the largest meeting place of its kind worldwide, as well as an expanded audio area and an increase in international stages and trade events, including high-ranking CEO talks.
The mission of Author Reputation Press is to foster literary connections between authors and readers. In line with this, ARP displayed several of its remarkable books at the largest book trade fair in the world. The book gallery was even more interesting because of the large variety of genres in the exhibition.
Barbara Bamberger Scott of the US Review of Books reviewed and praised “The Unfortunate Destiny of Our Planet” by Lennart Wingardh. Here is an excerpt from the US Review of Books that highlights:
“His assertions regarding the end of time are arrayed in an organized and erudite manner, offering numerous scriptural references alongside scientific discoveries and the diverse writings of others, along with a few salient photographs. He has constructed this wide-ranging work as both an alert and an encouragement to readers, exhorting them in a closing statement to secure for themselves “a place in the Kingdom of the only Living God.” Wingardh’s book will doubtless be studied and discussed intensively by open-minded readers striving to better understand planetary changes and their ultimate, dreadful purpose.”
“The Unfortunate Destiny Of Our Planet” by Lennart Wingardh was among the books displayed by Author Reputation Press during the 2024 Los Angeles Times Festival of Books (LATFOB) at the University of Southern California on April 20–21, 2024. LATFOB is considered to be one of the world’s most significant literary gatherings. It has been held every year since 1996 with the goal of bringing together the people who create books and the people who love to read them. It is attended by more than 550 authors, celebrities, storytellers, and hundreds of exhibitors.
The intention of the book is that the reader shall realize that the ancient prophecies are real and that they were given by God to provide the understanding that will help you change your life.
The author, Lennart Wingardh, is a Swedish and American citizen who was born in Cuba in July 1934, where he was educated until age eleven when the family moved to Sweden. After graduating, he joined the Swedish telecommunications giant Ericsson and worked in Latin America, up to the level of general manager in Mexico and Venezuela.
In 1980, he switched over to Motorola in Chicago, with whom he pioneered the entry of cellular into Latin America. In Argentina, he became known as the “father of cellular.” Upon retirement in 1998, he began studying prophecies to try to uncover the reason for their existence, something that had intrigued him deeply, culminating in the creation of this remarkable book.
