“One day, the sky was not filled with much light. There were many dark clouds, and the wind began to blow. Just as the rose felt drops of water coming down upon it, the little bird was flying by. It stopped and said, “Little rose, it is starting to rain. Rain is the water that comes from the sky. It will give you a drink and wash you so that you can grow and be beautiful. I must go before I get wet because I am not a flower.”

Author Reputation Press is honored to publish “Carrie and the Little Rose” by Lenny Yokiel. This book is now available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and the ARPress website.
“Carrie and the Little Rose” by Lenny Yokiel is a touching children’s story that focuses on themes of kindness, empathy, and personal growth. The little rose was happy seeing the place it was in. The little rose saw the people passing by but was sad that no one had looked and appreciated it. One day, a girl looked at the little rose and complimented it saying it was beautiful, and it made the people happy.
The little rose experienced many things like the hot weather during the daytime and felt tired and cold during the night. It also experienced the rainy season, autumn, and winter. The little rose learned everything and was happy that it made the people happy. The words that the little girl said to the little rose really had a great impact on the little rose.
Lenny Yokiel was born on December 14, 1958. He is the oldest of twelve children (same parents, six boys, six girls) and was raised in a Christian home where he was disciplined and loved. His family maintained an awesome reputation in the public eye, which embodies honesty, kindness, love, and friendship that is genuinely seen. He desires to accomplish a positive influence in the world that needs the good that he grew up with including the encouraging love of Jesus.
Lenny’s desire to publish as a children’s book author was inspired in youth by writing a story for a homework assignment. His first children’s book title is Little Children We Are. His second book, Carrie and the Little Rose, is beautifully illustrated in colored pencil by Beth Clingan. It encourages girls and boys to be the best that they are supposed to be even if people don’t seem to notice.
The story “Carrie and the Little Rose” emphasizes that acts of kindness and nurturing, no matter how small, can lead to personal growth and inspire positive change in others. The story highlights that by caring for others and showing empathy, we can develop inner strength, build connections, and positively impact our environment.
Although this book is about a little girl and a rose, it is for girls and boys as the moral of the book is to be the best person you were purposed to be, even if everyone doesn’t seem to notice. It is a great book for children so that they’ll be able to do their best even if not everyone acknowledges them.
