The years of success that ARPress and its authors have enjoyed have been meaningful not only for the authors themselves but also for readers and organizations around the world. From the American Library Association (ALA) Annual Conference to international literary events such as the Frankfurt Book Fair (Frankfurter Buchmesse), London Book Fair, Sharjah International Book Fair, and many more—ARPress has made its mark.
Now, we’re thrilled to announce that ARPress will be participating in the 2025 Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF), taking place from June 18 to 22 at the China National Convention Center in Beijing, China.
Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF) was founded in 1986, hosted by China National Publications Import and Export (Group) Co., Ltd. It has become the second largest book fair in the world, the most influential book exhibition platform in China and the most international book fair in Asia.
Just one day left until the Beijing International Book Fair 2025 opens its doors! Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a seasoned attendee, here’s your last-minute guide to making the most of the event.
- Finalize All Logistics & Travel Essentials
Ensure that your registration is complete—double-check your confirmation email or exhibitor pass to avoid hiccups at the entrance. BIBF is a massive fair with over 2,600 exhibitors, so you don’t want any delays at check-in. If you’re exhibiting, make sure all display materials (books, catalogs, signage) are either shipped or hand-carried, as the deadline for display copies has passed.
If you haven’t booked your flight or hotel, do it immediately. Nearby accommodations in Chaoyang District fill up fast, and proximity to the venue saves time.
- Review and Prioritize the Fair Schedule
The first three days (June 18–20) are industry-exclusive, reserved for publishers, rights professionals, agencies, and vendors. These are the best days for serious networking, business deals, and industry-focused talks. The final two days (June 21–22) are open to the general public and tend to be more crowded and casual—great for book lovers and soft promotion, but not ideal for business meetings.
- Pack Strategically for Mobility & Productivity
Tech essentials: bring a power bank, charging cables, global travel adapter, and even a mini Wi-Fi hotspot (especially if you’re coming from abroad). China’s internet infrastructure is excellent, but foreign platforms (like Google, WhatsApp, and Instagram) may be blocked—so pre-install any VPNs you need.
- Polish Your Social Media Kit and Content Strategy
Your digital presence matters—especially in a visually dynamic event like BIBF.
Familiarize yourself with popular hashtags such as #BIBF2025 and #BeijingBookFair. These will help your content get discovered by international audiences. Have branded visuals and captions ready to go, especially if you’re running a campaign, contest, or launch event.
- Build a Clear On‑Site Plan for Engagement
Before arriving, make a list of target exhibitors, pavilions, and key talks. Use the official BIBF site or mobile guide (if available) to map your daily routes. Prioritize essential booths early in the day before foot traffic gets intense.
- Stay Informed with Real-Time Announcements
Unexpected changes can happen—last-minute talk reschedules, booth relocations, or early closures. Follow BIBF’s official WeChat account, Facebook page, or on-site info boards to stay current.
- Create Social Moments
Scout your space for photo/video backdrops: murals, illustration awards display, author talks. Plan short live sessions during off-peak times to avoid crowds and increase engagement.
BIBF 2025 begins tomorrow, and we can’t wait to welcome the world to Beijing. See you there! at Booth 5A.D31!
