Being summons from high society, Lil Red gets a call from her mother informing her of her sick grandmother who lives in the “hood” that needs her immediate attention. This tangy adventure brings the bougie, 16-year-old to a community that she has tried her best to stay away from. In this magical fable, you’ll see some familiar characters from the previous fables that include the Wolf that has been terrifying children since he appeared in Hansello and Gertrude. Out of all the things that are waiting on Lil Red, she keeps the same feisty spirit as she cruises the streets of Memphis in search of a cure for her grandmother while avoiding that mean old Wolf.
