ARPress authors are committed to building meaningful connections with fellow writers, publishers, educators, librarians, and literary professionals. The organization remains dedicated to sharing diverse stories that reflect a wide range of cultures, languages, and perspectives—encouraging understanding and connection through literature.

The growth and achievements of ARPress and its authors continue to bring value not only to writers but also to readers and partner organizations worldwide. From the American Library Association (ALA) Annual Conference to leading international book fairs such as the Frankfurt Book Fair (Frankfurter Buchmesse), Bologna Children’s Book Fair (New Title Showcase), and Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF), ARPress maintains a strong and active presence across the global publishing landscape.

ARPress is proud to announce its participation in BookCon 2026, taking place on April 18–19, 2026, at the Javits Center in New York City. BookCon is a two-day event where storytelling and pop culture come together, creating an immersive experience for readers, writers, and fans of all genres.

BookCon offers a vibrant platform for discovering new books, meeting bestselling and emerging authors, and participating in a wide variety of engaging experiences. Attendees can enjoy book signings, interactive panels and workshops, and behind-the-scenes conversations that explore storytelling, publishing, and creative processes.

The event also features immersive and community-driven experiences. The “After Dark” program extends activities into the evening with events such as poetry slams, themed gatherings, and a fantasy-inspired ball. Creative attendees can take part in bookish craft workshops and DIY studios, where they can design custom book covers, create bookmarks, and explore artistic expressions inspired by literature.

BookCon fosters inclusivity and connection through dedicated spaces such as the Pride Lounge, a welcoming environment for the LGBTQ+ community and allies, and The Grove, a space for relaxation, book swapping, and creative interaction among attendees.

A major highlight of BookCon is its featured guests, which include a wide range of authors and storytellers from various genres. The guest lineup continues to grow as the event approaches, with new authors and personalities being announced regularly. This dynamic and evolving roster ensures that attendees can look forward to meeting both well-known and emerging voices in the literary world.

The event’s show floor showcases major publishers, independent presses, and booksellers presenting new releases, exclusive editions, and literary merchandise. Special sections such as Indie Alley provide a platform for independent authors to connect directly with readers and introduce fresh, compelling stories.

Through its participation in BookCon 2026, ARPress aims to strengthen its connection with the reading community, showcase its authors and publications, and continue its mission of promoting diverse voices in the global literary scene. The event offers an exciting opportunity to engage directly with readers, discover new literary trends, and celebrate storytelling in an interactive and dynamic environment.
