We are thrilled to announce that ARPress will participate in the China Shanghai International Children’s Book Fair (CCBF) 2025, taking place from November 14 to 16 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Centre (SWEECC).
The China Shanghai International Children’s Book Fair (CCBF) is approved by the Shanghai Press & Publication Administration, organised by Shanghai Xinhua Distribution Group Co., Ltd., China Education Publishing & Media Group Ltd., and China Universal Press & Publication Co., Ltd., and co-organised by Ronbo BolognaFiere Shanghai Ltd.
Launched in 2013, CCBF quickly became an important event for the global publishing industry and is the leading fair entirely dedicated to books and specific content for children in the Asia-Pacific region. Over its ten years of development, CCBF has thrived to accomplish its motto: “Embracing the Future.”
Not only is the fair a major copyright hub for children’s books, but it also serves as a premium platform offering marketing solutions and crossover opportunities for a wide range of industries. CCBF plays a vital role in promoting quality children’s literature and encouraging a reading culture among young readers.
Since 2018, CCBF has maintained close cooperation with the Bologna Children’s Book Fair (BCBF), organised by BolognaFiere. With a 60-year history, BCBF is the largest children’s literature fair in the world. This collaboration reflects China’s publishing industry strategy of “going global and bringing in”, disseminating original content worldwide while introducing the best international books to Chinese readers.
Beyond the exhibition itself, CCBF offers a rich programme of events, including the Conference and Seminars, the Golden Pinwheel Young Illustrators Competition, the Illustrators Avenue, the Children Plus Exhibition, and many other activities that celebrate reading and creativity.
As the only fair in the Asia-Pacific region fully dedicated to children’s and young adult content, CCBF has become a leading international platform for the global children’s publishing community. It brings together publishers, authors, illustrators, translators, educators, and rights professionals from around the world; promoting creative exchange, reading culture, and the growth of children’s literature.
