For decades, Frankfurter Buchmesse has stood as the world’s premier trade fair for books, media, and digital content. It is the global meeting point for publishers, authors, booksellers, educators, librarians, rights professionals, and creatives from the film, gaming, and technology sectors. It’s more than just a book fair, it’s where the future of storytelling is shaped.
ARPress continues to build its legacy by actively engaging in international literary events from the American Library Association (ALA) Annual Conference to the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, Bologna Children’s Book Fair, London Book Fair, and Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF), among many others. These engagements reflect our mission to foster diverse narratives, encourage cross-cultural exchange, and celebrate the transformative power of books.
Our presence at Frankfurter Buchmesse reinforces this commitment. With over 573 hours of programming, the 2025 fair promises to highlight key topics such as literature and society, children’s and young adult content, graphic novels, fantasy, and the growing intersection between books and multimedia, especially through initiatives like Book-to-Screen Day. We are particularly excited about the emphasis on forward-looking themes, including artificial intelligence, audio innovation, and global creative collaboration.
The Philippines, the official Guest of Honour for 2025, brings a unique cultural perspective under the theme “The imagination peoples the air”, inspired by José Rizal’s Noli Me Tangere. Their programme includes more than 100 authors and creatives across 77 literary events and over 50 artists contributing to exhibitions, performances, and screenings. It’s a celebration of both literary heritage and contemporary expression, and ARPress is honored to participate alongside such a vibrant and meaningful showcase.
