The Frankfurt Book Fair (Frankfurter Buchmesse) 2023 successfully closed its doors, and participants celebrated the books, insights, and unforgettable memories they had accumulated over the duration of the five-day event. For the time being, it’s time to bid farewell to the busy halls, enlightening author talks, and book signings from your favorite authors. This year’s highly-anticipated book fair may be coming to an end, but FBF will return the following year with even more exciting events.
It is reportedly known as the world’s largest trade fair for books, opened its doors to participants around the globe celebrating books and their authors. The massive book fair also celebrated its 75th anniversary this year. Slovenia, their guest of honor this year, presented itself as a nation with a rich literary history in addition to being a desirable tourism destination.
The Frankfurter Buchmesse is the best platform for publishers and authors to engage with international audiences and share stories. This year, over 105,000 trade visitors from 130 countries and 110,000 audiences participated in this big event. This year attracted more visitors compared to last year, when there were 93,000 trade visitors and 87,000 audiences. Over 2,600 activities were covered by more than 7,000 media professionals during the five days of the exhibition. The number of visitors on Saturday and Sunday, when the book fair is accessible to the public all day, outpaced 2022’s attendance by more than 30%.
Author Reputation Press had a successful exhibit of a wide range of books from diverse genres attracting audiences from different places all over the world. ARP also held a book signing event wherein participants can have a signed copy of the book and interact with the author—an experience wherein every bookworms would love to have.
